Nonyx nail gel

i used this and bought a comercial grade nail file machine like a small drill bit, it was a ceramic abrasive bit that fits on the end of a penlike instrument, the ceramic wont make heat thus not causing some pain burnning, . grind down the nail til its very thin then ,with a small sharp tool like a nail or small flat head screwdriver dig out the powdery yellow material go under the nail do this after soaking or a bath shower,

aply 3 times a day i sometimes wrap the toe with a bandaid after applying the gel i am getting results this way no drugs that destroy you liver. the liver is pretty important lol very much so good luck also dr shoals swabs worked if you can still find them

Came in contact with nail fungal spores how to disinfect quickly?

How to disinfect with bleach, hydrogen peroxide or isopropyl alcohol? (I usually used soaked cotton balls and put them on top of the nail) and how long?

Also maybe debride the top layer off? (It’s a toenail— or would that make the spores embed deeper into the nail)

Update on previous post

Hi everyone, I previously posted about toenails fungus on my big toe after seeing a dark spot underneath. Turns out most of that half of the toenail was dead! (link to previous post) Below is an update after i have cut off most of the nail. Should i cut the rest of the part with the dark spot? It is lifted. I just got tired today so i wanted to get some advice lol

How can I get rid of this

I’ve never paid attention to my heels but it has become uncomfortable to see and now I’m conscious about them.
I’ve tried terbinafine cream, 40% urea cream, ordinary glycolic acid and it just doesn’t soften.
I’ve seen in tiktok that soaking my feet twice a week is good I tried it and it’s still there any tips?

Has anyone had any experience with Nailcur?

I've struggled with nail fungus for years now and finally went today when my nail completely broke off and was causing me discomfort. I did not want to take any of the oral medications and had to wait on laser treatment due to cost. So while I was there the doctor whipped out this very DIY looking paste and said he was going to apply it to my toes and send some home with me. He said he knew it didn't look "professional" but a podiatrist in Newport Beach had developed it and was having success treating nail fungus with it, and he gave me the list of ingredients. It's a lot of essential oils and anti-fungals with a base of petrolatum.

Here is the website: https://www.nailcur.com/

I just felt a little weird that he would give me a product developed by a doctor rather than one that was FDA approved and at least gone through clinical trials, and am considering just washing it off lol. Anyone have any experience with this product or has heard of it?

How to fix this without pills?

Basically I've battle my nail fungus for 2,5 years, but I'm not done yet... The question is really: "Can I still fix this without taking pills orally?"

Some more info. It started with my second toe on the left and that one still is the most stubborn to treatment. It is that toe, my little toe on the left and the nail of my big toe got infected by using the tools on it I think. Beware for self-infecting!

At my second toe the fungus has gone pretty deep towards the 'root of the nail', therefore it's hard to rid the fungus there. Is it still able to get that one without pills?

Thanks for all the support already

New athletes foot

Hi, i recently had a spa day and although i used my own flip flops (discarded them at the end of the day as they were old) and didnt walk barefoot anywhere, i noticed flakey skin on my heels, at the outer sides and on my toes a week later. I started using terbinafine 1% cream twice a day immediately and have been using dr scholls antifungal shoe spray disinfectant on my daily flip flops and any shoes i wore since the spa day.

The skin on my feet seems to be improving and im going to continue using it twice a day for atleast 2 weeks/ till its gone and then maybe once a day for a couple of weeks more.

I also plan on spraying my shoes daily with the disinfectant (it says it kills 99.9% of fungus) but is it better to just chuck away the slippers and shoes i was wearing to really avoid reinfection?

This is the first time I've had this and i know fungus can be very difficult to get rid of so any advice would be appreciated.

Is the spray enough or should i just chuck any shoes ive worn since the spa day?

Also should i get rid of my bedding too or is a hot wash enough to kill any fungus?

Thanks!

is this Fungus?

I keep my feet pretty dry, I'm always wearing socks and sandals. my feet don't smell. The nail is a bit flaky on the front edge. I do shower at the gym though and maybe some water splashed onto my flip-flops? Any ideas and help would be great.

Is this toenail fungus? Is my treatment complete?

Hi! So for background, in January of 2024, I was diagnosed with toenail fungus on both of my big toes, for which I was prescribed ciclopirox (8% solution). Then in October of 2024, I switched from that treatment to taking terabinafine HCL (250 msg tablet daily), which I took until July 2025 (so for 8 months). Since then, I’ve used OTC anti fungal liquid (tolnaftate 1%) twice a day, every day (in the morning and before bed). This entire time, every 7-10 days, I’ve also used a new disposable nail file to file down the nail plate before soaking my feet in a mix of epsom salt, apple cider vinegar, and water for 30 minutes. Overall my nails look a lot better, but as you can see in the photos, the sides of the nails still look white. Could this be white superficial onychomycosis? Or is it more likely something else, maybe caused from one of my current treatments (like filing the nail plate or soaking my feet, although I haven’t done either in a few days)? After treating this issue for 32 months, I just want to know if I can wear toenail polish again lol. If it is toenail fungus, does anyone have any other suggestions of things I could do to get rid of it once and for all? Thank you!

How do I get my nail to grow over this?

I’ve had nail fungus in both big toes for several years. There have been long periods of little to no outward growth of the nail, as well as several other times where the nails have either been cut back by a podiatrist or me. As a result, the skin in front of the nail has grown up vertically, preventing the new nail from growing out past the end of the toes, which is especially sad now as the nails look better than they’ve looked in years. On a few occasions the nails have painfully grown into that skin akin to an ingrown toenail.

AI recommended urea, warm water soaks, and pumice to reduce the height of the skin. Does anyone have any other recommendations or thoughts on getting my nails over the hump (pun totally intended)?

Update #4

This is update 4. Still zero pain. Just a little sensitive. I've cut the lower left and right corners of the cuticle so it stops digging in the corner of my toe. AMA <3 ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Is this nail fungus or discoloration from nail polish?

I had a gel pedicure for quite a while. The nail polish was green and stubborn to get off and this was underneath when it finally came off. Is this fungus or discoloration?

Tattoo on Terbinafine?

I’m just now realizing after setting a tattoo appointment that I’m also on the Terbinafine 250mg. I’ve only taken them a day. Could I just not take them until my tat is healed? I genuinely didn’t even think about this until the day before the appointment. The placement is for my leg sigh. Should I call my derma?

Are my toe nails salvageable?

The picture is after being filed down because of the pressure. I’m seeing my doctor in a couple of weeks, but I want to be prepared for their answer.

Thanks!
