How to contact Neobanc? Payment not processed for half a month

The AI agent replies really fast " want to make sure your August payments (both made by credit card on Aug 6 and Aug 7) are escalated — they are now 12-13 days unprocessed, which is far too long. Our team will action this." But I don't believe anything is actually happening.
The phone number I got when try to dispute the charge "647.559.2909" also has no one answering.

Anyone use it for a BMO mortgage?

Right now BMO automatically withdraws from my chequing account. I believe they will remove my signup offer ( for picking a mortgage with them $2k in cash) if I change this. Any ideas, has anyone done this

Neobanc MCC use

I reached out to Neobanc support to ask about which MCCs they currently use for their payments. The response was as follows:

>Neobanc uses a single MCC for all payments processed through us — MCC 6513 (Real Estate Agents and Managers). This applies across the board: rent, bills, mortgage, tuition, CRA payments, property tax, everything. There is no variation by payee or payment type.

According to support, this is what they currently use with their processor, but they could always change that in the future. This differs from Chexy, who uses a different MCC for each payee that reflects the type of payment being made.

I also noted while I was discussing with support that the app shows a unique identifier underneath each payee, and how it might be useful if they ever decide to code each payee categorically to note the MCC that will be used.

Not much else to say, just figured this info might be useful for a lot of the churners in this sub. If you're using the BNS MVI+ card, don't use it with Neobanc past Oct. 22 because it definitely won't get 4%. I'm still happy continuing to use Neobanc for my CC payments, and maybe more in the future depending on how everything ends up being handled both by Neobanc and the CC providers.

Gift card stuck processing since August 8th

I decided to try out Neobanc's gift cards and bought a $100 Amazon gift card. It has been stuck on "processing" for nine days now.

I've reached out to support a couple of times since asking for an update. They just tell me it will be processed "shortly." The last time I reached out (four days ago), I asked if they would refund the purchase if Neobanc cannot process the gift card. They ignored that message and never responded.

Hoping someone here can actually get this sorted out.

How does Neobanc work?

I just recently found out about Chexy and Neobanc. I have also recently tried using Chexy for a payment that should go out in a few days. While waiting on that I got curious about Neobanc and I am still confused how it works lol 😅 With Chexy you pay bill, rent, insurance etc through bill payment or PAD option that get charged to a credit card for a fee. You get rewards on CC depending on the card and some aeroplan points on Chexy. But for Neobanc, you can even pay Credit Card with another credit card? Like I can pay a card that earns 2% on purchase with another card that will give me more? What’s the benefit? I have Scotiabank Momentum Infinite, Tangerine, Canadian Tire, CIBC Costco cards to pay? Can I pay rent, bills, mortgage, taxes with it? What’s the charges for using their services?

No more 4% cash back for rent and property tax for Scotia Momentum VISA Infinite

Sadly confirmed, effective Oct 22, Scotiabank’s cash back credit card suites (Momentum VISA, Momentum VISA Infinite, Momentum No-Fee VISA, and Momentum for Business VISA) no longer includes recurring rental and tax bill payments via Chexy and CASA

Edit: this is provided by my brother who works in Scotiabank. They received internal news as of today Aug 14. Feel free to check with your local Scotiabank Financial Advisor

Est arrival date changed after payment was sent?

I sent the payment on Aug 8, it showed that it should arrive by Aug 17th latest, but yesterday it changed to Aug 18th. Do I hope it arrives on time or do I need to make an additional payment on Aug 17th to avoid interest charges?

I hope it arrives on time because this isn't a good first experience with a moving arrival date.

How reliable are Neobanc rent payments, especially on weekends/holidays?

I’ve been using Neobanc for credit card bill payments, and I’ve noticed that they can sometimes be delayed by 2–3 business days.

For anyone using Neobanc for rent payments, how reliable is the scheduled payment date? If I select the 1st of the month, does the landlord receive the payment on the 1st even if it falls on a weekend or public holiday?

For context, I would be e-transferring the funds to Neobanc well in advance, usually around 10 days before the rent is due, so funding delays shouldn’t be an issue.

Mainly trying to understand whether I can rely on Neobanc to make sure rent is received on the selected date, or whether I should schedule it a few days earlier to be safe.

Payment sometimes not sent on due date

Anyone experiencing payments not being sent on the due date recently by the end of the day? Are they just experiencing a high volume of transactions to process?

Ended up contacting support a few times late into the day and magically it gets processed a few minutes right after that.

I am facing issues with referral bonus and my welcome offer on NeoBanc

I recently opened my account in NeoBanc to do credit card payments with welcome bonus offer and referred my friend who also completed payment.

I am missing both of them in my account. Contacted their support team multiple times but they are doing nothing except re-assuring that it will resolve soon.

Anyone else is facing similar issue? I had much better experience with rent payment with other platform.

Missing Payment

Did a credit card bill pay of $2k on the 8th that was successfully deposited by neobanc but didn’t show up in my payments. I think I was off by $25 (the amount of cash back I had intended to apply but failed to) or something. Someone responded on the weekend pointing out the payment was short the $25.xx and instructed me to do a top up. I did and it showed up. She told me it would show up after the weekend and it hasn’t as of writing. Since then she mentioned it was fine now and should be there now and even that the payment was going out on Wednesday the 12. It’s not on there , it’s not pending, and while I’m confident it’ll work itself out , really not satisfied with their support chat feature.

Update: Neobanc app notification announced the payment was sent but still no sign of it anywhere on website or app. Like it never happened—not pending, processing , received or otherwise. No payment and no status.

Rogers WE Mastercard considered cash advance?

Has anyone tried using Rogers Mastercard with Neobanc since the recent changes to the terms? I know Chexy still works but wondering if Neobanc is considered cash advance or not

Is there any restriction on the number of times I can do bill payment to a single payee in a month?

If I have a credit card bill coming up (say $1,000 due in a month), can I make multiple smaller payments towards it, like paying $250 every week instead of sending the full $1,000 in a single transaction ~7 business days before the due date?

Does Neobanc have any issues with multiple partial payments in a single billing cycle? Anyone here currently doing this without any processing delays or problems? Thanks in advance!
