Do we have to upload credit card bills each time we do payment?

Credit cards usually make their money when customers pay the minimum, carry a balance, and generously donate interest to the bank every month.

Then Chexy came along and sent Scotiabank a bunch of customers who were apparently financially responsible psychopaths. 😂

Chexy helped Scotia attract new credit-card customers, while many customers avoided the annual fee and even opened premium accounts. Some people apparently parked $6,000 just to save themselves a few bucks in fees. So Scotia was happily collecting deposits and enjoying all this lovely new customer traffic.

But then Scotia discovered the horrifying truth: these Chexy customers actually paid their credit cards in full every month.

No revolving balances.
No interest payments.
No “minimum payment” nonsense.
Just people paying their bills on time like some kind of financial extremists.

At that point Scotia probably looked at the numbers and said, “Wait a minute… these people are using our credit cards but they aren't paying us interest?! What kind of business model is this?”

And just like that, the party was over. Scotia pulled the plug.

Chexy basically delivered an army of customers to the bank and accidentally delivered an army of people who refuse to make the bank rich.

Based on my personal experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding Interac e-Transfer as a method of funding your Robinhood Canada account or even staying away from Robinhood Canada. The deposit process is grossly unreliable, and if something goes wrong, resolving the issue is an extremely frustrating and time-consuming experience. The issue is not resolved in over a month in my case.

If your e-Transfer fails to appear in your Robinhood account, don't expect a quick resolution. Instead, you will find yourself trapped in an endless cycle of email exchanges. Many of the responses appear to be automated or AI-generated, repeatedly stating that your transfer was rejected and the funds were returned (which is a lie) directing you to contact your bank.

The support process feel like you're being sent in circles. You'll be asked to provide your e-Transfer confirmation, then told to contact your bank. After your bank confirms that it has not received a returned transfer, Robinhood will ask for the same e-transfer confirmation that you provided earlier again, only to repeat the advice to contact your bank. Rather than investigating the issue or taking ownership of tracing the funds, the same generic responses will be recycled over and over.

In my case, my bank confirmed that the rejected funds had not been returned. Despite providing this information, I continued receiving essentially the same response: that the transfer had been rejected and that I should contact my bank. The conversation made little progress, and there appeared to be no meaningful escalation or investigation into where the funds actually were. An interac return should be processed within a day and Robinhood is constantly misleading that they returned the money while in reality they are holding you rmoney.

I've dealt with many financial institutions over the years, and this has been one of the most frustrating customer support experiences I've encountered. When your money disappears into a failed transaction, you expect Robinhood to work together to trace it. Instead, it feel like you're left to act as the middleman, relaying the same information back and forth while no one takes responsibility for resolving the problem.

Until the issue is fully resolved, your money remains inaccessible. You cannot use it, invest it, or withdraw it. Every day that passes without a resolution adds to the frustration, especially when the only response you receive is another request to contact your bank.

Has anyone else noticed this strange issue recently?

It looks like incoming calls from landlines are mostly not getting through. Today I called my supermarket to ask why they never returned my voicemail. They told me they had tried calling me several times, but the calls would not go through.

So I tested it by calling my mobile from a landline, and to my surprise, the call didn't go through either. All I got was a fast busy tone.... no voicemail, no missed call notification, nothing. Only thing that was peculiar was that the spam calls stopped coming through recently. Maybe that was the sign that something isn't right.

Mobile-to-mobile calls are working fine, and I can also call both mobiles and landlines without any problem, so I never realized there was an issue.

Watch this video and see the state of liars who spread false claims about Islam. This liar falsely claimed that the Quran contains a verse permitting a man to marry his own daughter. When the brothers asked him to provide the verse, he couldn't.

He searched Google, asked ChatGPT, complained about his slow internet connection, and kept everyone waiting for around 15 minutes, yet he still couldn't produce the verse he claimed existed. He then tried to change the subject, but the brothers stayed focused and kept asking him for evidence. In the end, he couldn't back up his claim and literally ran without providing any proof with his tail between his legs.

It looks like Questrade is planning to launch a Visa credit? card (not a Mastercard) and may also be introducing mortgage services. I was trying to add Questrade as a bill payee today and came across these two options related to Questrade/Questbank.
