Another entry from my ongoing stock-art project to draw every monster from the Labyrinth Lord Bestiary. It's going slower than I would like... but that's OK - still chugging through them. I'm nearly done with 'C' and this is my favourite of the bunch:
I tried to stick with the idea they are 1-2 foot long and not the massive man-sized ones seen in later versions of DnD.
Hand-drawn with brushpens in a Moleksine sketchbook
The magazine is supposed to look like something from to early fanzine era of the hobby.
Amateurish enthusiasm!
Panthor: A panther-human hybrid. Aggressive under the night. Fast as lightning, silent as a shadow. Almost impossible to trace.
Grun the Sentinel. Sent to lead Tashar survivors to Ulur. But the woods they just entered are already packed with Sons of Skandir…

A wild predator that lurks in rivers and swamps. It has thick, scaly crocodile skin, a powerful humanoid build, and a face resembling a mix of crocodile and frog. It uses its very long, lightning‑fast tongue to snatch prey from a distance and drag them into the water.
The Neon Jungle 2 is funding now on Backerkit! For wet Goat Games and Scotland James Galloway this piece shows his MCC world in the treetop village. I love working on weird stuff like this, allows me to stretch out of the sword&sorcery vibe I normally play in! Creating all these characters and this world was such a pleasure! Go check out The Neon Jungle 2 on backerkit!

Again, original art by a poor artist listening to strange and obscure podcasts and reading equally dangerous books.
"Salamanders are tribal warrior creatures that live in the Marsh. They are often treasure hunters or wandering raiders who explore the ruins. Salamanders worship fire, and every camp has a sacred bonfire. If it is ever extinguished, they fly into a terrible rage."
A little illustration for my tabletop RPG about frog knights, BOG. I wanted a creature that could work as an enemy on the frogs’ scale, while also serving as a twisted mirror of their chivalric code. The one you see here is just a sentinel, but now that I’ve started drawing them, I’d love to do some Sacred Fire priests or elite warriors, much tougher and more dangerous.
Anyway, BOG’s development is coming along nicely!
How many of you like to see process art? Here are a few on the drawing table now. Really rough, but they have character. These are for an upcoming Hyperborea project!
A myconid and a brave frog knight (Roland the Leechslayer) for my tabletop RPG.
I was pretty happy with how they turned out, so I thought I'd share them with you. There are probably still a few things that could be improved, but sketching has definitely become a crucial part of BOG's development.
This is my first test sketch for The goblin for my osr ttrpg Wizards, warriors and Wanderers. Pen + Watercolors. The final piece will be on proper paper.

Phlox's Cabinet of Boons and Banes I am using it for my next session and I'm trying to illustrate and draw more of my campaign and I thought this item would be useful if it had a picture.
Big shout out to Phlox's amazing work.
