This is my first post to this sub, how can that possibly be… as I sit here in the airport after a great private con with none other than the master of the game where he totally amazed me when running a game based on some art I recently produced (sorry, no spoilers…. But Khromarium related 😳) so here is some older stuff still a part or the game. I hope to post a lot more!

The Neon Jungle 2 is funding now on Backerkit! For wet Goat Games and Scotland James Galloway this piece shows his MCC world in the treetop village. I love working on weird stuff like this, allows me to stretch out of the sword&sorcery vibe I normally play in! Creating all these characters and this world was such a pleasure! Returning to classic artwork!

When Larry Wick from Gamewick games, and BOSS RPG asked me to give my interpretation of the classic Bend bars, lift gates strength feat and suggested that his race of Gnobbits (halflings with planet of the apes vibes) be navigating the bars, I was immediately struck by it. I wanted to recreate the classic by David Sutherland III in my own style and composition. Look up the original, it is a great classic image by one of the forefathers to Old School art as we know it.

When was the last time you used this feat in your games?

How many skeleton fans out there? I think they are iconic sword & sorcery fare. Equally devastating at lower levels with their weapon hinderances like sword and spears do 1/2 damage! And great as mobs against higher levels. Infinitely edited, and changed. I love when a high level cleric turns a handful only to find more rising to attack!

This was done in 2o2o for @necroticgnome for OSE. Such a fun scene of gnomes fighting goblins in a cave. Strange how many projects I’ve worked on over the years somehow get lost in my mind until I go looking thru old piles of works.
