Hey, tldr I am very new to Deadlock and Mobas in general.
I play mostly SIlver because I like the Character
I think I am doing alright at the Start of the match, and early mid-game at least I feel like I am on the same power scale as my enemies are. And I can get positive k/d.
However mid-late and late game I feel genuinely like the weakest player on the server. Like a glass canon without canon. Everyone has some sort of ability to stun you or erase half of your hp with a press of a button and here I am praying I can at least get close to someone to deal enough damage for beast form or scare them away. So I am constantly feeding.

I am particularly struggling against characters: Graves, Warden, Celeste, Mo&Krill, Mina. Everyone else is also a menace but at least I can get them on the run if I am lucky.

I tried to look for a good guide in terms of Items to buy, which ones are situational or good against certain heroes and whats her playstyle needs to be late game, but a lot of them are either outdated or focus on explaining her abilities. The newest ones I can find are mostly stream VODs from good players but they don't explain much in terms of why.

What’s the best build/builds you guys recommend? I’ve only really used Lordnms build and some other builds back when she was really OP. Tryna get back to using her but am not sure what items are really good and what build to start with. Thanks!

Silver had a rifle instead of a shotgun in human form so she can deal with far away targets and charge her bloodlust from mid-long range. Then ult and jump in.

The amount of people I see championing the idea that Yoshi should make Silver a stance character is insane. I understand that Silver’s balance at the moment is a hot topic, but I don’t think making her a stance character fixes her. Here’s my main points against it:

- It dampens Silver’s character design by giving the player, and by extension her, control over her CURSE which just removes so much flavour and novelty from the character.

- The wolf form would have to be balanced against the human form more tightly, likely leaving the wolf form on a similar power level to standard characters but obviously more specialised.

- It removes the design space for having a proper stance character in the future.

- It wouldn’t address any of her balancing problems as she’d effectively be a whole new character with her own balancing issues.

I understand the frustration from some Silver players regarding her balance and feeling like triggering the ult feels like an aim check, but I think she is so much more interesting in her current state than just ‘I press 4’.

every other carry relies on sustain, once you flip you have only 1 and lifestrike (i dont even know if this is a good enough item with how bad she needs gun investment and resists). doesnt need the full heal on kill just let her actually use items that make sense

To make myself clear off the start, this is NOT what I am outright requesting for Silver, its mostly a conversation starter on how I would like to see Silver changed in future. Obviously the two biggest problems with Silver is that she's a tank who can't tank and she is heavily pro jailed when she is balanced thanks to an especially strong lane and mid game which plays neatly into the pro-meta. So with that in mind, here's my proposal:

- Silver: Bullet damage adjusted from 5.1+0.117/boon to 4.7+0.172/boon.
(This results in a 8.5% DPS decrease at base and a 16% DPS increase at 35 boons)

- Silver: Base health reduced from 830 to 780.

- Silver: Health per boon increased from 28 to 36.
(This takes her from 1810 to 2040 at 35 boons, or from 3005 to 3386 at max vitality invest)

- Silver: Lycan Curse base bullet damage reduced from 25 to 20.

- Silver: Lycan Curse now provides +5% bullet and spirit Resistance.

- Silver: Lycan Curse bonus health per boon increased from 15 to 20.

- Silver: Lycan Curse T1 changed from '+15% Bullet and Spirit Resistance' to '+4m/s Move Speed and 15% Debuff Resistance'

- Silver: Lycan Curse T2 changed from '+4m/s Move speed and 200 Bonus Health' to '+18% Bullet and Spirit Resistance'

- Silver: Lycan Curse T3 now heals 15% of missing health on kill.

These changes would ideally take away a fair bit of her punch in the early game in exchange for doing the opposite late game. The increase in health alongside the increase to her resistances in ult should hopefully enable her to tank a lot better as the game progresses and actually enable her to frontline again rather than being an assassin who can occasionally off-tank.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this and if there would be anything you'd change/add!

Been losing every ranked game I've played since placements and not sure why I've been performing so badly. I feel like I play pretty well in the early-mid game and my damage breakdown tends to look OK. If someone could look at my match IDs and tell me where I'm fucking up I'd appreciate that a lot - 99478610, 99299206, 99294223

I understand that it is important to her burst and does percentage damage, but I'm not sure how it actually applies and cant find any resources on this.

Does the percentage damage occur after each shot? does this mean that for the first shot of slam fire it will do more bonus damage as the enemy would have a greater current hp compared to following shots?

is the bonus dmg applied calculating the targets health before or after the actual bullet dmg is applied?

How does this work when hitting only some pellets? if I only hit a single pellet will it still apply the 2.5% current hp dmg to that shot? if I only hit 1 pellet that does 1 dmg will it reward me with 2.5% of their health?

for the t3 does every pellet need to make contact to apply the extra bonus dmg? again for example if im shooting at range and some pellets miss will I still get the extra chunk of dmg from t3

if anyone knows it would be nice just to better understand when its ok to be using slam fire

I've been playing silver since she released but on the current patch I've kinda been struggling to find a build on her that feels good. I've tried building her all fire rate which is fun but way too squishy to be good and even full melee silver lol. I've been looking through the popular builds for her but I haven't really found anything that feels good to play on her this patch she feels like she dies way too fast and does no damage.

I figured I'd ask here for some guidance.
