I wish their products were better quality

I posted here a while ago about how my classic broke in less than a week and the lovely people of this sub recommended more durable versions. I’ve tried a few now and I’m sad to say that I’ve noticed an issue with every one I’ve had rather quickly.

-Classic broke in less than a week

-Rexlax lasted several weeks, but the clear silicone oxidized and now it looks dirty. Some links also got very loose.

-Metallic (not the new release) colour rubs off. I got one for my bday 2 days ago and the colour is already coming off

-Colour changing also lasted several weeks, (less than the relax), but eventually broke as well

I know they are cheaper than other fidgets, but I wish I they would last several months rather than a few weeks. I love the concept, it’s one of the only fidgets I like. I saw someone say they are more gentle with their tangles now which I have kept in mind since getting my new metallic, but the colour is still wearing. I also saw people recommend removing broken links, which I did, but I noticed that the less links there are, the more tension there is and the more likely they are to continue breaking. I’m hoping my new colour changing one lasts longer as I continue to be more gentle. I still love these toys, but it’s frustrating to keep buying them 💔

Tangle Gems Obsidian

This is my first tangle! I’ve only had it for a week and I usually only use it when I’m watching some youtube to fall asleep.

Why did it lose its iridescence so fast, and why are some links still shiny 😭? I’d understand if it was because of regular use but 1) I’d say it’s only in my hands for less than 2 hours a day, and 2) the pattern of links that lost their iridescence is quite irregular.

I’m really not a fan of this grey-ish color so I’m also wondering if this quality is normal among other tangles before I invest in getting another one, since they’re actually kinda expensive in my country 😭

Why does my Tangle smell like gas?

Does anyone else experience their Tangle smelling like gas once you start playing with it? 😭

I’ve tried washing it with soap and alcohol, but the smell keeps coming back. Other people can smell it too, so I know it’s not just me.

I already tried reaching out to the Tangle team to ask if they’ve experienced this before, but I never got a response. Has anyone else had the same issue?

reconnect tip

I'm new to tangle and only have 2 of them. I modified this one for a few minutes to play with an 8 link only version. That was cool but I was ready to put it back together after only a few minutes. I was stuck unable to snap one of the sections back. For two days it was on my bed as a tangle snake and I was sad. I tried every angle and struggled a lot almost breaking a nail.

Just now I put the female part only in some hot water for like 10 seconds and it popped right back in easy peasy!

The water was not boiling, just a little above warm.

Are the Tangle Bubblegum's worth it?

I'm thinking about buying some of the Tangles from the Bubblegum line (the ones changing colours in the sun). Do they actually change their colour in the sun?

No shipping update ordered almost 2 weeks ago

Yesterday emailed me that they were out of stock of the metallic one I ordered. Is this normal to get no tracking info? Like did they ship it and just not update. Was really excited about this because I never ordered from them only had the dollar general ones.
