24F Looking for Back Office, Operations, Executive,Jobs or Freelance Opportunities

Hi everyone,

I'm 24F and currently looking for work, and honestly, job hunting has started to feel exactly like the picture above.

I've been applying for roles in:

Back Office Operations

Operations Executive

Project Coordination / Project Management (entry-level)

Administrative Support

Virtual Assistant roles

Remote Executive Assistant positions

Freelance projects involving documentation, research, data entry, coordination, or operational support

I've been actively applying, updating my resume, and searching across multiple platforms, but so far I haven't had much luck.

Atp , I'm genuinely wondering whether the market is slow or if I'm simply missing something in my approach.

If anyone knows of:

Hiring companies

Remote opportunities

Freelance projects

Referrals

Communities where such roles are posted

I'd be grateful if you could comment below or send me a DM.

Even advice on improving my job search would be appreciated.

Thanks for reading, and best of luck to everyone else navigating the job market right now.

My teenage son can’t find a job!

My son is 17 years old and going into senior year. He has had two jobs before but left his previous one because it was miserable for him and not what he needed to be happy.

Now he can’t find any jobs at all. He’s been searching since he got off school, and tells me he’s applied to over 50 jobs and can’t seem to get an interview! Does anybody have any advice? I’m sick of him sitting at home all day.

I run a pub trivia company in the Denver area. I’m looking for fun, high-energy people to host trivia nights!

Details:

  • Pay is $50 per game (~1.5 hours of hosting)
  • Free food & beer at most venues
  • Meet New People– you’ll host at the same location each week, so you can build relationships with your regulars
  • We provide all equipment – you just show up and run the show

If you like entertaining crowds, and this sounds like a fun side gig to you, click the link below!

Applying for job with the City of Raleigh

Earlier last month I applied for an office job for the city of Raleigh. The day before yesterday I received notice that my application is being sent to the Hiring Manager for further consideration.

I am curious. Does anyone have any experience with applying for/interviewing with the city itself? Like how long does the process take? How many levels?

I ask because years ago I applied for some jobs at NC State and other local government jobs. They either took a LONG time to get notices and some apparently are still open (on the govjobs site I see one I applied for in 2020, and I am STILL listed as under consideration).

Impossible to find work near Bahama/Roxboro/Creedmoor/North Durham

Still no bites for a survivable paying job after searching this area for 2.5 years. And it doesn't make sense financially to drive 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes one way for a position that only pays $20/hour. What is the deal here??

To the auto technicians on r/Raleigh - If I wanted to start a career as an automotive technician, where/how should I start? What courses at WakeTech do y'all recommend?

I'm a new student at WakeTech pursuing its auto associates and I'm thinking about taking some CE. I've done my own radio, brakes, windows, window tint, and oil changes, and I want to do even more.

Looking for job recommendations. Experience listed

Hi everyone,

I'm a Raleigh-based Anthropology graduate from Appalachian State University looking to connect with people who may know of opportunities in the Triangle that align with my background and interests.

Over the past few years, I've worked in administrative support, customer service, and student support roles. While at App State, I volunteered helping students navigate scholarships, study abroad opportunities, academic documentation, and university resources. I'm currently working as an operations assistant, where I coordinate administrative processes, maintain records, communicate with customers, and support day-to-day operations.

One thing I've realized during my job search is that the work I find most meaningful involves helping people navigate complex systems, connecting them with resources, and making complicated information easier to understand. I'm especially interested in roles related to:

  • Student services
  • Academic support
  • Higher education administration
  • Program coordination
  • Community engagement
  • Outreach
  • Nonprofit administration
  • Public service

I'm open to hearing about organizations, departments, or job titles I may not have considered. I'm not necessarily looking for a perfect match right away, but I'm trying to learn more about where my skills and interests might fit within the Triangle job market.

Thanks for any suggestions or advice.
