Just a little teaser for something I’ve been working on the last few days!

Will post the final piece once it’s finished!

So I got an m5 iPad Pro a week and a half ago, and have been transitioning from photoshop to procreate. I’ve managed to nail down the basic kawaii style, so have been practising the last few days with more Freeform painting.

I must say this thing is an absolute pleasure to paint on! I’m still getting my bearings, and it was frustrating at first, but feeling a lot more comfortable and confident now I’ve found some brushes I like!

The way procreate automatically saves the timelapses is also incredible for content creation! I may be posting a lot from now on!

Feedback welcome, and if anyone has any tips or brush recommendations these would be much appreciated. Happy drawing!

Having some mild tattoo anxiety after getting this piece on my ribs a few weeks ago.

It's an image of White Album-era John Lennon, covering up a smaller Beatles tattoo I got in college. 

The reference image has a grittiness to it that's one of the reasons I really love it, but i'm not sure if this translated well to the actual tattoo. Looking for a little assurance that I didn't make a mistake! What do people think?
