Should I message my old colleague after 6 months?

I am 23M, software engineer in Bangalore.

Around 6 months back I joined a company. One girl also joined around the same time. I had a crush on her from the beginning. We were not close friends or anything, just talked sometimes in office.

Later I left that company because of some personal reasons and switched to another company.

After leaving, I sent her an Instagram follow request and she accepted it. But after that we never really talked. She never sees my stories and I also don't see her stories much. I only see her instants.

From what I have seen, she looks like the kind of girl I always wanted. One more thing I noticed is she likes many breakup-related reels, like men cheating, moving on, relationship pain, etc. So I feel maybe she had a breakup and is single now. But I can also be completely wrong.

I have her Instagram and even her phone number from our office days. I always think about messaging her, but I just don't have the courage. I don't know if it will look weird because it's already been 6 months.

Should I take a chance and message her? Or is it better to leave it?

If yes, how should I start the conversation? I don't want to directly say "I like you" in the first message because I think that will be too much.

Looking for people to explore Bangalore on weekends

I usually spend my weekends riding around Bangalore by myself, and I thought it would be nice to have a few people to join. Nothing too serious just relaxed rides, chai stops, good conversations, and exploring the city.

There are so many hidden places, viewpoints and roads around Bangalore that I've saved from Instagram but never got around to visiting. It would be fun to plan a few of those together.

I'm a software engineer, so if you're in tech too, that's great we'll probably have a lot to talk about. But honestly, anyone is welcome. Bring your bike, and let's just enjoy the weekends.

Bought my first bike but don't know where to go in Bangalore

pata hai Aaj Kya Hua :

When I first came to Bangalore, I didn't have a vehicle. Whenever my friends planned to go somewhere, I used to go with them by auto or Rapido. We went to game arenas, temples, cafes and some other places.

At that time I always used to think, "One day if I get my own bike, I will roam the whole Bangalore."

Later I switched my company. In my new company I am not that close with anyone. Most of the time I am alone. But finally I bought my first bike.

Now every weekend I open Instagram and YouTube to search for places to visit. But when Saturday comes, I don't have any motivation to go anywhere. Today also I filled petrol, wore my helmet, and then started thinking... where should I even go?

I don't have any specific place or plan. Should I just go to random places and scroll Instagram after reaching there? 😅

On top of that, I am an introvert, so going out alone feels a little strange sometimes.

I really don't know what to do in Bangalore on weekends.

If anyone is in a similar situation, feel free to DM me. I am not looking for a big group. Even 2 or maximum 3 people is enough. Don't expect too much from me because I am a quiet person in the beginning.

Please suggest some places, give me some advice, or if you're planning a ride or outing, maybe take me along.

A true incident happend in my family.

My family has experienced paranormal activities.

I know a long story.

So here's the true incident happend in 1985.

Please don't mind my English.

My grandfather and grandmother used to work on incense stick. And a poor family with 7 childrens.

Life was so hard they couldn't feed 7 childrens and stay in a rented house.

Owner was good hearted person.

He had some place known which was a old house , its an lengthy house around 300 meters.

The stepping stone were very big .

People say it was a kings home before where the family died there (don't know the exact reason).

So the house had 3 big stone steps with stone table structure on left and right side where people used to sit and work on incense stick .

Hall was so big , both of the side they had added wooden compartment like structures for cows feeding .

And when you mive forward you get another stepping stone which has a railing down like a mesh which was on the center of the stepping stone . If you see it you could see the underground room.(people say king used to throw the coins from here so it would directly be collected in the underground).

And when you move forward they would be a bathroom on left side which used to have another door near by which would take you to the underground room.

On the right there was another bathroom.

And when you still move forward you would react backside.

Above was place introduction so that you can imagine better.

The story begins now.

Daily after 6pm a ornament sound (leg chain) used to come from the railing of the step which people could here till the front door.

Out of 7 childrens no one used to enter the house except the starting marbel place where they used to sleep at night , have food and work there itself.

But here's the interesting one my grandmother used to enter and used to take bath in the bathroom which was just beside the underground leading door.

Everyone used to scold here for doing such thing.

One day my grandmother got a dream of someone appreciating her bravery for bathing there and said here there is a huge amount of gold below where you take a bath.

My grandmother tried to dig the bathroom with a iron rod , she got a huge stone which weighted more and a single person couldn't pick it up.

She says the iron rod was around 3 meters and when she dug it at corner of stone the rod used to go inside aroud 2 meteres down basically a hollow space below the stone. She says she couldn't lift the stone and stopped digging it from then.

Another day , there would be a power issue in the house and no bulb were working.

They'll call a electrician but the catch is the meter board is just in front of the door which leads to underground room.

He goes there in dark and tried to reset the fuse trip. He flew awys from there and falls in the hall .

His hand used to have 4 cm of hairs growing, he says someone was standing near the meter and when he pulled the fuse , some one cought his hands and it had hairs like a bear.

And he was shocked and ran away telling leave this house theres some ghost in the house.

Every night my grandfather who used to sleep outside on stone step used to get the same dream of someone calling him inside to go near the door that leads to underground.

He ignored everytime.

My grandmother Upon insisting too many time she doesn't obey anyone and takes her 4th child to the bathroom for showering the kid and one day the kid gets heartattack and dies on her hand while showering she takes the kid and runs out for the hospital but it was too late and it dies. Now its 6 of them in the family.

I would like to stop this here. There are even more insidents that happened with my father which sre terrible. Pata Hai Aaj Kya Hua.

bonus is : These are real incident me a science and engineer student never believed this. And my fathers brother has some ghost issue where ghost enter his body and he runs to grave yard in the night and tried to dig a body which was put there. Play with the ashes around and all. They go to a place called " Darga " ,a muslim place where hindus also visit to get rid of ghosts.

I see most of them getting difficult in imagining the house. I have done a sketch see below comment.unabe to add it here
