I’m just starting college, I already feel like everyone is so far ahead of me.
I’ve been interested in computers since high school. I’ve done all the basic nerdy stuff installed Arch Linux, hyprland and stuff, know almost all the latest coding and AI news, and generally tried to stay updated with everything happening in tech. But I never got the chance to do properly was learn how to code.
I was busy studying for college, so I never had the time to seriously sit down and build that foundation. Now I’m finally free as hell, and I’ve started learning Python and C I really enjoy both
But the stuff I'm building can built by any AI in 30 seconds
It feels like it’s going to take me at least a year just to understand the fundamentals, and by the time I actually become good enough to build something meaningful, AI will probably be even more capable, AI is already miles ahead.
And yeah, I’m kind of a lonely mf. I can easily spend 12 hours a day glued to a screen because I don’t really have friends near my college, I don’t even expect to make many maybe I will have two or three friends over the next four years. So I know I’ll have plenty of time
I also know that if I just keep going, in four years I’ll probably understand a lot more and could land a decent job.
But I don’t want just a decent job.
I genuinely want to become one of the best in this field.
And that’s where I’m confused.
I’m not someone who constantly comes up with insane ideas either. I like coding, and I love understanding how things work, but I don’t have some billion dollar idea constantly appearing in my head. I’m scared that I’ll spend the next few years learning
But there’s still this fear that by the time I finally understand what I’m supposed to do and how to do it, it’ll already be too late
I don’t want to spend these four years just becoming “good enough”
I just have no idea what that path looks like yet.
Also how do I stop these, I am literally scrolling shorts in the middle of my whole family and these typa ads come ✌️😭
Edit: Account age is less than 18, everywhere on Google and youtube the age I putted is less than 18, So basically youtube is showing corn to a minor
I need 75% for colleges next year, It isn't practically possible for me to score 75% in total with only 1 subject
So do cbse do let you give in all 5 subjects next year instead of just the compartment subject?
Last time I checked, no developer was even developing rom for poco x6 neo, hopefully some are out now or atleaast been developed
Can't find any solution 😕
Currently I use Cachy OS(arch) + hyprland setup
I need a light OS, Not tinyos level light
Somewhere between LXQT(arch) to Cachy level light,
It shouldn't be like maximum things just crash on it or it looks like windows XP
My potato Laptop specs:
4GB DDR4 ram (3.4GB usable)
128GB SSD
Intel core i3 - 1005G1
It's a Lenovo IdeaPad slim 3(don't remember which year, but it's old AF)
Idk even with this shyt specs how it can run minecraft (at 60fps most of the time), hollow knight type games
From my past experience distro really matters for the performance, because I tried Mint many times it just lags a lot, Best yet on the Performance wise is CachyOS (I was impressed by it)
Also on this topic saw a Omarchy OS how's this one, many ppl seems to love this one

I am a Class 12th student. I passed 4 subjects but failed Maths in my main exam(2026), Also I might fail in maths Compartment
I understand I still have a second compartment chance for Maths next year. But I want to reappear in all 5 subjects next year instead, since I need 75% overall and my current 4 subjects marks won't get me there even with a good Maths score.
So, Is it possible? And also what's the process
So, yesterday was compartment exam, my friend gave it, he just getting 15 marks (correct, he did mentioned he tried to solve every question so maybe get some marks for that too)
But Let's say he fails, Now what does he just go to the cbse site and register as a private candidate and give exams in all 5 subject (he prefers this too)
Or are there some steps in between like TC etc.
I am a complete newbie (just installed it 12hrs ago)
I'm having buffering problems, so what addons should I use ? (if you can please provide me with a addon list)
When I use the Hold to 2X feature, the 2X icon is just too big and dark, anyway to remove it or make it smaller
Also, Can't I just choose a default source or something like which is best source selected automatically
That's all, Only these minor issues
I am purely assuming that if I connect my earphones with my phone's charging port then why not with the controller's
This might as well be one of the stupidest questions but gotta clear my doubts
Has anyone tried this? Just curiosity
Edit: If it's not possible what controllers you guys suggest which have a 3.5mm jack
IIITH probably has the highest fees among other IIITs/NITS
I understand that the placement rate and average package are pretty high but no fees waiver even for EWS doesn't sound right
I personally like IIITH, but 20Lakh fees and no fees waiver?
I'm just looking for a cheap, casual gaming controller. I've never used one before, so I mainly want to see if I enjoy playing with it. If I end up liking the experience, I'll invest in a better controller later. The main reason I want one right now is to play Hollow Knight on my TV....
Edit: I don't have any idea what my budget should be, hoping you guys suggest me how much should I spend on it
So basically what I am trying to say is, I have one channel in which I have previously posted some random contents and it have 8 subscribe, Now when I have proper niche and everything, Should I start posting on a new channel or just delete/private the videos on the old one
I'm looking to buy a gaming mouse in the ₹1,500–2,000 range, and after watching a lot of reviews and reading recommendations, the VXE R1 (especially the R1 SE+) seems to be the most recommended option. The Logitech G102 is another one I see suggested often, but I'm leaning more towards the VXE.
The problem is that I can't find the VXE R1 on Amazon. On Alibaba, the R1 SE+ is listed for around ₹1,500, which seems like a great deal. However, I've never bought anything from Alibaba before, so I have no idea, how to confirm if someone is a legit sellers or not
If Alibaba isn't the best option, could you recommend trusted websites that ship to India (or Indian stores) where I can buy a genuine VXE R1 at a fair price? Please share links if possible.
I'd really appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thanks!
guys help me, find a good gaming mouse under ₹1000, I prefer Wired and if it's wireless I want it to be chargeable (Not with batteries)
I mostly Play minecraft (bedwars)
I am looking for a site + android app with account sync, so I can continue watching on any device, Also it should have all the movies and series + anime
I am trying to find a site like this for months, there are atleast 50+ shows which I have half-watched because I can't continue watching on my phone (account sync)
I will really appreciate if you could help me out.
I am looking for a site, which probably doesn't need a VPN to use, and which have account sycn, also that it have a android app, So I can easily switch from watching on Laptop to phone
(and I am not asking site's like Netflix !!)
I tired finding some sites but none them was good enough (could say skill issue)
And this is major issue for me, I've left so many shows half watched because of this
So if you know any please let me know, I will appreciate that
