Where are the protests for the cost of living? I keep seeing protests for Palestine, Israel, Ukraine, the US and any other country, but absolutely none for our own issues. The enterprises and politicians are literally robbing us and making our lives slowly harder and harder and the message we are sending them is that they can keep on taking advantage of us because we literally won't do anything.

Before covid we had so many riots and were so much more involved in our justice. It wasn't perfect but it was much better. Covid, amongst many other things, sedated us. The minimum wage is not enough for a single person to sustain a barely comfortable lifestyle anymore. The rents are ridiculously high, even in further regions. There's no logical explanation as to why certain medications and prescription contacts doubled in price in the last 8 years. Why aren't we protesting? We're all complaining about the same things but no one is speaking up about it. No one is doing anything and the situation is just getting worse and worse every year. They use excuse after excuse to raise their prices. While we just keep on enduring without showing them we won't accept this

And that's not even to mention Carney's investment into our education. In a time where we need it more than ever after so many kids got delayed in their learning process because of covid, he takes away from our education funds and puts them into our military. Why aren't our funds increasingly going into our healthcare and education system instead?

Are we getting inspired by what's going on with the US or what? Because they don't do anything we shouldn't? Next thing is gonna be what abortions and same-sex marriages become illegal again? Because it sounds absurd, but with how things are rolling it's where it's headed and it's already like that in certain US states.

Our country is slowly crumbling and no one is doing anything about it. No one is speaking. How will we help our situation otherwise? What can be done? We must send them the message that we won't accept being stepped on anymore.

Lets face it, we had it the roughest here during that time in all of North America. The curfews, the mandates, the restrictions.
Lots of politicians flip flopping, confusion, seniors being left to die in senior homes because of the panic, thousands of businesses and lives ruined.

Knowing what we know 6years later, should Legault, Dr Tam, Trudeau face a similar hearing that Dr Fauci faced this week?

During his campaign, Carney came out strong making people believe he was the best one to deal with Trump. How do we feel now?

Im thinking of coming down to Nashville in a couple weeks to enjoy Broadway and the country music scene. Whats there to do during the day though? If we wana party etc?

Need a little help setting up some investments in my 3 accounts.

Im 40yrs old still have a good 15yrs till retirement, i want to buy VEQT for risk and also VBAL for some security.

My original plan was to load up my TFSA and RRSP with VEQT for longer horrizon and buy VBAL in my Cash account (shorter term access) however i hear i’ll get smacked with taxes on the VBAL distributions. Any suggestions?
