I don't get Maomao's hate for his father

Imo I think he tried and tries yet Maomao isn't even willing to give him an ear.

His hate towards his father is unjustified according to me.

Also, why wouldn't Lakan help his Uncle out of poverty, you'd think he'd remember the one person who was kind to him.

Finally, the La's seem to be smart.

Budget-friendly electric road bike for a daily 20 mile commute?

I commute twenty miles each day from home to school. I am thinking of purchasing an electric road bike to help with hills and headwinds.

I have looked at affordable models on Amazon, AliExpress, and Alibaba and found some have range extenders and removable batteries and can last for hours.

I am worried about battery life in cold weather and charging at while at school. Has anyone here used an ebike for a long daily commute?

What bike do you use and how many miles do you get per charge?

I want something lightweight but still practical. I am considering a mid drive motor for better weight distribution.

Using QR codes or RFID to track flanges on large construction sites

I manage piping installations on large industrial projects. We use thousands of flanges in different sizes, pressure classes, and materials.

Keeping track of inventory and ensuring the right flange goes to the right location is a challenge. I have seen flanges for sale on Amazon, AliExpress, and Alibaba with manufacturer markings but no tracking tech.

Has anyone here used QR codes or RFID tags on flanges for construction tracking?

Do you attach them yourself or order from the supplier with pre applied tags?

Also any software recommendations for logging flange location, test status, and weld completion?

I want to reduce errors and speed up installation.

Small chip turned into a long crack

Had a small star chip on the passenger side. which I did not fix it right away. Now a crack has spread across about eight inches.

Called a few local shops where one said I replace only while nother said maybe but no guarantee.

I have came across DIY repair kits online on Amazon, AliExpress, and Alibaba. and saw some claiming to stop cracks from spreading. Not sure if those actually work or just waste money.

Wondering if anyone here has successfully repaired a long crack or just small chips.

At what point is replacement the only real option?

Trying to avoid paying for a whole new windshield if possible.

Do you actually need a face mask or balaclava for skiing

Hi everyone, I’m planning my first ski trip this winter and I’m a bit unsure about face masks or balaclavas.

Since I’m still figuring out what gear I actually need, I started looking into options and got a bit overwhelmed.

I’ve been checking several affordable options on typical online marketplaces like Amazon, Etsy and even Alibaba, and the prices and styles vary a lot.

Some look very lightweight while others seem quite heavy duty and I can’t really tell what is actually necessary versus just nice to have.

So I wanted to ask do you actually need a balaclava or face mask for skiing or is it only useful in extreme cold or windy conditions?

Would really appreciate advice from people who have tried different setups.

Best merino beanie

I’m looking for a genuinely good merino beanie that isn’t itchy. I’ve tried a couple random “100% merino” hats before and either they felt scratchy after an hour or started losing shape fast.

I’m trying to avoid just grabbing another generic one off Amazon, AliExpress, Alibaba, or some department store rack with a fancy outdoor label slapped on it. I’d rather buy one solid beanie that’ll last through hiking, camping, and everyday winter use.

What brands/models have actually held up for you? Bonus if it works well during active use and doesn’t get swampy from sweat.

Small DC motor jerks instead of spinning smooth.

I am building a small robot and using a 12V DC motor with an L298N driver.

When I send a PWM signal from my Arduino Uno, the motor just jerks back and forth instead of spinning smoothly. I bought the motor and driver as a cheap bundle from my local town.

I am wondering if the motor is just low quality or if I have a code problem. I have tried different PWM frequencies and added a capacitor across the motor terminals and still no luck.

I have researched online for diffferent sellers in amazon , eBay and other online platfrom like alibaba . I am thinking of buying a new one .

Has anyone here dealt with cheap motors that behave like this?

Could it be a bad driver or a wiring issue?

Food truck startup funding dilemma

I’m looking for advice from people in the food industry, especially those who started with food trucks or small mobile setups.

I’ve been analyzing my plan in detail, and I’m stuck on whether it’s better to go for a loan or seek an investor.

I want to start a food truck business, but my current budget can’t cover everything.

I’ve even looked at sourcing affordable equipment and packaging from budget-friendly platforms like Alibaba, but once I factor in licensing, certification, permits, and setup costs, it still falls short.

For those who’ve been through this, what worked better for you in the beginning: a loan or bringing in an investor?

Would you invest in a donut business?

I currently make homemade donuts and sell them to friends and family, and the feedback has been very encouraging.

It got me thinking that maybe I should take the next step and start selling from a food truck, but the issue is I don’t have enough funds to set it up properly.

I’ve researched equipment options and found affordable commercial donut makers and kitchen tools online from the various sites such as Alibaba, AliExpress, and also Amazon, which helps reduce startup costs, but I still need capital for the truck, permits, and initial stock.

From an investor’s perspective, what would you need to see to consider this investable?

Has anyone here used a Chinese engine on their go-kart build?

I’m looking at a few options online: TaoBao, AliExpress, and Alibaba because the prices are way lower than local options.

I’ve seen engines branded as 212cc clones, Lifan, Loncin, and some unbranded ones, but I’m not sure how reliable they are long term.

I mainly want something affordable with decent torque for trail riding and occasional drifting. How’s the quality, parts availability, and performance compared to Predator or Honda-style engines?

Any issues with shipping, damaged parts, or scams from these platforms?

Would really appreciate hearing real experiences, recommendations, or brands/sellers to avoid before I order one.

best platform for sourcing prebuilt chinese carbon bikes?

Looking for advice from people here who’ve actually sourced prebuilt Chinese carbon bikes or frames. I’ve been comparing Taobao, AliExpress, Alibaba, and Made-in-China, but I’m unsure which platform is most reliable for quality and communication.

From what I’ve read, Alibaba seems better for factory contact and OEM sourcing, while AliExpress is easier for single purchases. Taobao and 1688 seem cheaper but harder for international buyers without an agent.

I’m mainly worried about QC, fake carbon claims, and sellers rebranding the same frames. Anyone here bought directly from these platforms?

Which gave you the best experience, and how did you verify the supplier before ordering?

I keep seeing those super cheap motion sensor lamps floating around on sites like Alibaba, AliExpress, Amazon, and similar online marketplaces, and I’m tempted to try one for hallways and closets.

Some people say they’re surprisingly useful for basic lighting, while others mention issues like weak brightness, slow sensors, or batteries dying quickly.

If you’ve used one, I’d love to hear whether it was reliable or ended up being more trouble than it’s worth. How was the sensitivity, durability, and overall performance in daily use?

Has anyone here actually tried one of those super cheap motion sensor lamps you see everywhere online, and how did it actually hold up in real life?

Hi everyone, I’m exploring the idea of starting a small gym equipment business and would really value your advice.

I’ve noticed growing interest in home workouts and affordable fitness gear, and I’m considering importing items in bulk from China through Alibaba to keep costs low. My plan is to focus on essentials like dumbbells, resistance bands, mats, benches, and skipping ropes for beginners setting up home gyms.

For those with experience in startups or importing, what should I watch out for in terms of supplier reliability, shipping, customs, and quality control?

Is this a viable niche, and how would you test demand before investing heavily?

Any insights would be appreciated.
