In which game were you screaming at your tv: “Coach, get ____ off the field!!”

I’m talking about starters who are typically reliable but are having the worst game of their careers. And coach won’t take them out and put in the backup due to pride, false hope, or any other reason.

Not counting poor 3rd strings trying their best.

Have you ever had to make a difficult quality decision?

I’m a quality engineer at a company that manufactures devices to treat certain urologic conditions.

The supply of a high risk component for one of our devices is nearly exhausted. There is a discussion to purchase components from a supplier who fails to meet our established supplier controls in numerous ways.

(1) No audit has been performed for this company, which is required per the SOP.

(2) This company cannot provide evidence of a process validation for a specialized process for this component.

(3) We have issued a formal notice of discontinuation to this company due to inability to meet inspection criteria - only last year

With all of this in mind, it’s extremely difficult to write up a deviation that would satisfy an auditor, even with all of the controls that we could put into place.

Controls such as 100% verification on all incoming parts (rather than sampling) and risk assessment on the potential hazards.

-Note that even with 100% inspection & verification, there is no way to determine if this specialized process even happened. Not without specialized tooling, that we don’t have. The inspection would largely be dimensional.

This is a class 1 device. Very low probability that accepting these components leads to an adverse event.

I’m considering making a formal decision to not accept these components. This is scary. I haven’t been at this company that long, this decision would halt production and cause us to be on back-order for months.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What were some of the worst political attempts by presidents?

Such as trying to pass a bill that had virtually no support in Congress or among the public.

What was your biggest circumvention? Avoiding a grind you hate?

And I don’t mean boosting slayer to get a whip rather than just getting to level 85.

I mean a TRUE circumvention. An example:

Obtain a spicy stew

So that you get get your thieving up

So that you could steal an item

And use that item to do something else

Must frustrating part of being a Pyke main

Landing a hook, and my adc dies for it :(

Not every hook is an all-in
Not every hook means you need to walk up at auto
Not every hook is an opportunity to kill

Barring the rare instance in which a foolish hook pulls the enemy closer to a fleeing adc, the ADC should NEVER die because a hook landed.

It’s okay to poke with hook. It’s okay to do 120 damage.

Sorry for the rant … it happens so frequently at my elo.
