Built my first AR9.

I've built multiple ar15s, but this is my first venture into AR9.

Bought what I could afford, we're an "only my income" family.

I'm getting ftf when shooting mainly at a higher cadence but also slower sometimes as well.

To best describe it, the round feeds from the mag but jams up on the top of the feed cone and won't chamber.

I'm using exomags. One seems to work better than the other but it happens with both.

Milspec upper and lower receivers.

Edit: Solved! It was the trigger! Swapped out geisselle two stage, swapped in mimtac single stage! Running like a champ!

The pockets been hurting lately from the SK and Eley, so I grabbed a couple bricks of federal auto match. Performs as well as CCI SV in my kidd barrel. Dare I say a tad better.

Not done yet but taking shape. Geiselle triggy, Faxon guts, soccom barrel, Rom&Juls, SI brake, endomag, rando tri lug rail, kak extended buffer and sprinco red/white spring, extended tube, sb3 and hammy riser, 3d print stop and grip, magpul shorty VFG (don't sweat it, weird NJ rules).

Waiting on mount for a surefire and looking around for maybe a unimount for Rom&Jul set up.

I tell ya, sure is nice to rip and run all day for like 50 beans. Grabbed a thousand rounds for 190 shipped.

1200k all in for build so far including ammo.

Man I scored some cheapo mft mags and I'm gonna go to town. Have a few done up and am going to do some more. Shoot me some ideas. Got some pecker stencils and gonna do a pee-pee woodland camo! Lol

Took the Howa 1500 SA out to 300 on steel for the first time today. Man I'm hooked! Have only shot at 100 on paper. Took me 5 shots to dial the scope in and when that fifth round hit the steel and the sound came back to me it was magic! Let's gooo!

Took the barreled action off of the randy newburg set up and did the best I could with what I could afford. Shooting S&B 131 grain jacketed soft point and 120 grain blue tips. Hera H7 stock, athlon argos btr 8-34, MDT Oryx bipod. Not bad for first time and a budget rig. Man I love it! I think I'm hooked! Didn't break 1 MOA yet but it's getting there!

Looking to get some better ammo but I think since it's not that heavy of a set up I should stick around 130 grain but not sure. I know howa dials in with Hornady factory ammo around 140 grainish so might try that next.

Kid match 10/22 barrel. Vector Optics 5 to 50 x60 scope, Nordic components chassis.
