And it’s so sad because it is literally just a piano… but, damn, it truly is the best of the best. So much love to every other niche song they’ve made—Better Days & The Meaning, I’m looking at you—but again, this is just THE best. THE song of all time.
I’m an American in London this week, and as a fairly big but somewhat recent Whovian, I initially thought it was absolutely necessary to visit The Who Shop. But after being here for a few days and seeing just how massive the city is, I’m starting to get cold feet.
We’re staying in Chelsea, so getting to the store will take some effort. That’s not a problem if the experience is worth it. I’d also want to see the museum which is reservation-only and a 30-minute experience.
There’s hardly any evidence of Doctor Who even existing in London besides the old Police Box by Earl’s Court station. This seems to be the biggest and best place to indulge in my hobby despite the major detour.
I know this isn’t the usual topic for this sub. If anyone who’s visited can give me an honest opinion, it’d be so appreciated.
Walked into an antique book store, hoping to find some vintage copies of Oz to buy on my birthday, and turning to my left I immediately saw these in a glass case. They’re a bit more used and discarded than I would have hoped, but I knew I had to buy them. Half are missing the first few pages and first chapter, and Land of Oz is colored all over and inside. But I’m still so thankful to have them in my collection!!
‘Noooo the franchise I refuse to abandon is bleeding me for money, how could the evil people target me??’
Nvm they’re playing You’re Gonna Lose That Girl, this movie is amazing
Their sub is dead and I’m bored of all our memes. Another Nervous Wreck, Downstream, Better Days, and all of the Crisis What Crisis album are golden for me. Who cares about harmonies, I want three minute oboe solos.
Made this as a mixtape version of the original story. It’s 24 songs, the same amount of chapters in the book. But it’s not as specific as each song is each chapter, it’s mostly a sequential order of story beats and character exploration. I especially focus on Tin Woodman and the relationship between Dorothy and her friends. It’s also, admittedly, a lot more sad-sounding than usual versions. Please let me know what your thoughts are! Does it evoke the right atmosphere?

I remember being so disappointed when it didn't get picked. But it could made just a bit smaller and fit right in next to Arkham.
From Coffeezilla’s new vid
Because the only thing we know he *can’t* be made out of is Tin, since Tin doesn’t rust. This is a biblically accurate Tin Woodman^^
I forget if it’s a yearly tradition or just whenever they visit Skywalker Ranch or the Coppola Winery. George slowly stops being host, and Patrick & Watto patiently babysit him and run the show. Always a great episode.
