I used to weigh 355 lbs and was a college defensive lineman. After playing football I couldn’t Run a mile without stopping.
Started running to lose weight to join the Army. Lost the weight and Running has changed my life, both physically and mentally.
Now I’ve ran multiple marathons, ultra marathons, x2 50 milers and a 100 miler.
Just capped off a 308 mile month.
Just wanted to say running is truly you against you and it’s the greatest gift there is

Just bought the Novablast 6 and it’s my first pair of ASICS and I absolutely love it
Had the shoe for 8 days and 8 runs in and already have exactly 80 miles on them lol.
My other shoes are the Mach 7 & EVO SL
These NB6 are amazing and I’m reaching for them everyday.
Buy another pair or something similar to them to rotate with ?
Which one you recommend as a do it all daily trainer ?
If the Neo zen, I wear a size 14. So an option to half size down isn’t an option. Keep 14 or go to 13?
Average 50-65 MPW. Currently just running with the EVO SL and Mach 7. Looking for another daily trainer that can handle anything.

I currently have 28,000 of student loans I acquired prior to the Army. Been in forbearance for the past few years and have not paid on them at all until obviously now.
I’m currently a E-5 in the army and my last years tax return have me making more money than usual because I was stationed overseas. Roughly 36-40k
When I start paying on these in a few months, what is my best payment option and plan moving forward as I will be exiting active duty but transitioning to the reserves in about 8 months?
How to re certify my payments so it accurately has my actual pay on it and not be 1 year overseas pay ?
Just looking for the lowest monthly payment, that’s all.
I will be staying in either state / local / federal government work after the army.

I’ve recently been following and attending games of the El Paso Chihuahuas (AAA- San Diego Padres) since being stationed in El Paso. So I thought I was knowledgeable on the MLB farm system but I’m learning I’m far from it lol.
My question is, the Padres have been calling up numerous Chihuahuas players over the past several weeks. So does the chihuahuas call up the next best player at that position in the farm system or just anyone ?
Because recently the Chihuahuas called up an infielder that was drafted in 2025 and has only 170 MILB at bats and only played a small percentage on rookie ball and single A with a low batting average. So how and why does a player with little experience go straight to AAA?
