Good show as always, but I had to leave after the first hour.
Before you say anything: A) I'd seen them several times before, which played a factor; B) it was fucking hot as balls last night. How the hell do Dave and the boys perform without suffering heat stroke or something?
Dex and the squad travel to a world where (nearly) everyone has superpowers.
This takes the usual Aerix formula (hot sex scenes, extremely kickass action sequences), and adds superheroes (and villains) to the mix. It's a LOT of fun, and you could do far worse. I recommend the first Quantum Operative book too, but there's a handy summary at the beginning. I like Aerix, I like Delivering Justice, I liked this.
The final battle is quite epic. Heroes vs. "heroes". Villains vs. "villains". Heroes vs. villains. "Heroes" vs. "Villains".
Also, poor Lexi 😢
This looks just like the first.

Mike and the girls have to travel to Italy for a final confrontation with Stanos.
This book keeps what I enjoyed about the other two: Hot girls kicking ass, and hot sex scenes (including an orgy at the end of this one!). The final showdown was suitably climactic.
Now, was this perfect? No. Aside from a few spelling/grammar issues (there was a use of "scolding" instead of "scalding" which stands out), there are a few nitpicks (some may think Angelica was forgiven to easily; some may think Stanos got defeated by a deus ex machina).
That said, this was a quick, entertaining read, and that's really all I need from these kinds of books (if anything, it was TOO quick).
It's probably the compressor, but damn it's annoying.

The usual mix of action (another good fight scene at the end, if a little less epic than Book 4); emotion (poor Vattia :( ); sex (though a bit lacking; only 2 scenes); comedy (Hexie getting irritated at Vattia was hilarious); and story.
Though that brings me to what I found to be a significant issue: TOO many questions are left unanswered. Okay, sure, I understand the Severing and Circle will probably be dealt with next book, but who's the traitor who tried to kill Vattia? Who broke in to get the files? Who's writing the stories about Alister, and who leaked the manuscript? More importantly, HOW did they steal the manuscript from the manor?
Also, I wanna see more Vattia fighting. She's apparently a badass.
Still, a good penultimate book, but the finale has a LOT to deal with.

Mike Sawyer is a college student who it turns out is a slayer master, whose job it is to fight vampires while breeding the next generation.
What I liked:
*Kickass vampire slaying action.
*Hot sex scenes. (I'm personally not into pregnancy kinks, but that's just me personally.)
*An actual good plot that makes me wanna keep reading, with pretty developed characters. Each member of the sorority has their own personality (Rachel's a nice girl who can kick ass; Emily is a brat but overall a good person; Blair is closed off but understandably so, and her walls are opening by the end).
What I hope we get answers to:
*How is Lance able to cheat death?
*Why is Angelica obsessed with Mike.
One question I'd like answered now: The last chapter says "The vampire thought he was hot shit ever since he showed up in Westgate from Europe, bringing with him a stream of new ideas that Stanos couldn’t wait to try out. And so far, none of them had worked out the way he’d hoped. Well, except for one, but that barely counted anyway."
What idea had worked out?
8/10, and I eagerly await Book 2.

This tells the story of Mike Lowry, who is isekaied and made a Hallowed Lord, immune from the corrupting fog plaguing Yggdrasil and able to heal.
There are some minorly irksome grammar errors, but overall, this is a solid 7-7.5/10. There's leveling up; stats; and a few hot sex scenes.
The best part IMO is probably the fight scenes. Regardless of anything else, Valen's fight scenes are quickly becoming some of my favorite in the genre (probably second or third; Warwitch Academy is the other one; first is Phil Aerix).
Not the BEST I've read, but far, far from the worst, and an entertaining way to kill several hours.
