Before Roger’s merged with Shaw, our internet rarely went out - maybe once a year or something. Now it’s every week. How does Roger’s stay in business? The absolute fucking clowns running the company have no idea what they’re doing? Their decision making skills are fucking terrible and they lack any sense of logic or critical thinking. Read the room assholes - and start asking what we want as we are the ones paying for your shitty services.
Hello - I’m going to be travelling to Kamloops quite a bit for work in the future, and I’m wondering about options for rides from the airport to Roger’s avenue area where my hotel will be. I tried looking up an uber price and it doesn’t give me one. What’s the best option for that ride? Is it a flat rate? Is taxi better?
EDIT: Thanks for the helpful advice everyone! You Kamloops folks are a nice bunch!
So I started with a new company. Their retirement plan options are a company share program and group RRSPs. I believe they’ll match up to 4 percent on both if not one of them. I’ve gotten mixed answers because there was recently a merger - so no one is quite sure.
Anyway - I’m planning on putting 6% of my salary into the company shares and they’ll match with 4%.
The RRSPs, If my coworker is correct, also come with a match program but I can’t divert that to the company shares as well.
My question. Is it best to put all the eggs in one basket here, or keep some of the company’s on the RRSPs and some on the share program?
Canada/US Safety folks - what methodology or system do you use for incident investigations and why? Taproot? SCAT? Pros/Cons?
Well, like the subject line says, the left earbud doesn’t connect.
They’re a paid of Jabra Elite 7 buds - they both power on and do all that but they won’t talk to each other and I can only get sound from the right bud. I’ve done the factory reset, tried pairing with different devices etc. Nothing seems to work.
Has anyone else successfully fixed this issue?

I’ve never removed popcorn ceiling. Does anyone recommend any tools or tricks? I’m relatively handy, I’ve just never done it. I’m going to weigh it out and see if it’s worth doing or if I should hire someone.
So I made it to the third round and now I’m waiting. It’s been a quick turnaround with their hiring process - they called me two hours after the second round to come back the next day for a third interview, which I think went well.
Having thought about it over the weekend, there’s some red flags that came up for me, and I have two other offers to consider - I’m going to turn it down if offered.
The question is, should I wait until I have an offer from them to decline or should I rescind my application from the process?
Hi folks - I have an interview at Amazon coming up for a WHS position. Does anyone have any experience working there? Give me the details!
This sub is far superior than r/edmonton. Shout out to the mods for doing a better job!
