I had a friend on Discord who unfortunately fell victim to this Dev7 scam and got logged out of his discord account, sending him to this screen. This thing is asking him for money or information, but he doesnt have anything on him

I asked him if he could access the desktop apps if there is anything that he doesnt recognize and could access, he replied that he couldnt open Task Manager.

But luckily he still has his reddit account on his phone and contacted me. I got suspicious at first- but when i asked him questions that he only knows, he answered right twice. Confirming that it is him.

He explained what had happened and it led up to me sending help messages on discord and on this subreddit.

Is there any way we could fight or free him from this Dev7 thing? He only has 2 weeks left before his google account would be deleted-

Update: He is now on Safemode, following this guide: https://www.iobit.com/en-blog/how-do-you-get-rid-of-trojan-virus.php . Although stuck on step 2
