I have been using one of these advisors for a couple years now. I know it's easy to debate whether the 0.3% fee is worthwhile and many feel it isn't. Putting that debate aside, I'm curious if people do this:

The minimum for PAS is $500,000. Say you have $2 million. Does anyone keep the $500,000 minimum with PAS and use their advice to self-manage the remainder of your assets with Vanguard? You'd effectively be getting the same advice for 25% the cost. If so, did they give you a hard time or claim it isn't permitted?

I’m having another Sarku craving. Is anyone able to confirm if they’ve definitely retired? They deserve their retirement, but man I miss that food.

I can’t imagine the other Sarku locations are as amazing. If anyone can speak to the other locations I might have to take a drive…

This might be a strange request. I'm 6'6 and don't like how boxy the larger sizes get. It's always been a struggle finding band shirts that fit well. Does anyone have suggestions on a way to have band logos printed on my own shirts?

I found some plain black shirts that fit me perfectly. I would love to find a company or person who I could pay someone to do some DTF transfers.

My girlfriend's son is very into Roblox. He's 9 and has been playing a lot of the first person shooter game(s?) He also likes just about any of the other games that seem to involve tons of repetitive clicking/keystrokes.

For reasons unknown to me, he prefers playing on her laptop. Unfortunately now the C key no longer works. He also says her phone is better than his Fire tablet.

Tomorrow he has a Roblox birthday party for his best bud. The invite says to bring his preferred device and my girlfriend (understandably) doesn't want him bringing her laptop or phone.

My question for you - if you were to get a new, "reasonably priced" device to play any of the games the 8-12 year old boys are loving, what would you buy? I'm not sure he even knows what is ideal - I'm guessing his Fire tablet is just too old and slow.

I have an issue that I've been dealing with for a while now. I'll start with my setup: I have an MXZ-SM36NAMHZ2-U1 running a SVZ-KP24NA and a SVZ-KP12NA through a PAC-MKA33BC branch box.

The issue is when both sides are calling for max cooling. When both units are running max cool the 24K side isn't able to maintain set point. It is anywhere from 3-5 degrees above. The 12K side is always right on. At this point I've had load calcs done multiple times, had the duct design verified and adjusted, and had a Mitsubishi area rep out to evaluate.

When both sides are calling for max cooling the 24K is only 62 degrees at the supply register. The 12K side is 49 degrees. When I tried turning off the 12K side the 24K went down to 55 degrees at the supply register. This led me to googling potential issues with the branch box and finding a dip switch labeled SW2-5. When I took the cover off my outdoor unit the rear of the panel said "SW2-5 should be switched ON when branch box is in use". Mine is currently set to OFF.

I questioned the installers on this and they gave a noncommittal response and said they could come by and turn it on for me. They claimed it doesn't need to be on for my specific outdoor unit, which seems hard to believe given the label inside the unit itself. Does anyone have experience with this switch? I was only able to find mention in a couple older forum message boards but it seemed to solve the issue for them.

Tomorrow will be another hot day so I'm hoping for positive results. If it isn't the SW2-5, does anyone have any other ideas? Could the branch box itself be faulty?

ETA: This is a relatively new install that has never cooled properly.

I have a cape style home that I purchased just over two years ago. I researched many options for air conditioning and decided on Mitsubishi as a brand. After meeting with multiple installers I decided to go with a Diamond Dealer for the extended warranty and expertise.

We phased the install of multiple 1:1 units and a 2:1 ducted unit. The 1:1 split units have all been great. The ducted unit seemed to make the most sense due to the upstairs floorpan. After running load calculations they used an SVP-KP12NA for the primary suite and an SVP-KP24NA for the other two bedrooms and bathroom. They were tied to an MXZ-4C36NA4-U1.

The issue we have been having is the side with the KP24 not hitting set point on most days where the outside temperature is above 75 degrees. KP12 side seems to maintain set point within a degree or two, even on hot days. The KP24 will be 4-5 degrees off and not reach set point until the middle of the night or early morning.

The dealer has been working on a resolution which included replacing the compressor with an MXZ-SM36NAM2-U1. Unfortunately nothing they have tried has made any difference with the KP24 side.

They recently had the regional Diamond "expert" come look at the system. He didn't find any faults and said it was functioning the way it is designed.

The piece that puzzles me is the KP12 side is maintaining. Logically it would seem there is an issue with the KP24 air handler, but the dealer is telling me everything is working properly.

Does anyone have any ideas why one air handler would work well while the other doesn't?

I really hope some of you might have some thoughts on this. As an interesting aside, I ran them to heat the upstairs this past winter and both sides maintained set point without issue.

It appears that my charger is overheating regularly now that it's summer in the northeast. I'll usually get an interruption notice after about a 40-50% charge on hot days. Once it cools off I can get it to resume by unplugging the charger and immediately plugging it back in.

My question is, has anyone figured out a way to restart the charging remotely? It would be nice not to have to deal with the manual reset every time.

I'm using the Flexible Fast Charger and a 240V NEMA 14-50 outlet.

Any other things worth trying to avoid having to unplug/replug every time I need a full charge?

I am hoping for some advice. My uncle is at the point where he will have to move to an assisted living facility due to dementia and other health struggles. Collecting model trains was his lifelong hobby. He and his wife didn't have children and dedicated a large part of their life to collecting trains. The collection is massive.

If this were one of your family members and you didn't know a thing about model trains, what would you do? I assume there must be experts who evaluate/appraise collections? We want to make sure he receives fair value and that everything is fully appreciated by future owners.

For reference, he is in Virginia, not far from DC. I greatly appreciate any help. I hope this post doesn't violate the appraisal rules - I figured it was worth a try as it is more of a general question than a specific appraisal ask.

This will be my first time ordering a replacement bulb. Are most of you ordering the Sundance branded bulb or an Amazon replacement? Any specific recommendations, if so?

It seems like a simple enough item where the OEM isn’t necessary but wanted to make sure there aren’t any horror stories before I order.

I’m curious who else has noticed this, or if there’s a fix.

I’m not even sure of the right way to describe the pitch change that is happening, but it is only when looping a single track of white noise.

If I play the track on its own it sounds completely normal. If I loop it, about 5-7 second in to the subsequent loops I hear a strange pitch shift that almost sounds like a filter which lasts a couple seconds. It’s incredibly annoying and completely new within the last week or so.

I’ve tried adjusting all of the playback settings, deleting the cache, and I re-downloaded the app.

Any thoughts or tips would are appreciated.
