I collect paranormal books. My wife collect books from the late 19th century.

Some of my prized books is a signed Gray Barker, a signed Charles Fort or a signed John Keel book.

A friend of a friend mentioned that they halved the number of new hires they were supposed to receive. That part of the agency is already very understaffed with only a handful of workers supporting a massive agency that recently received another massive program. They keep expanding the agency without expanding the staff and now they are to do more with less due to budget cuts.

Hope the public loves this because this is what they voted for. Delayed processing and delayed responses costing millions of dollars a year.

I enjoy going to town halls and other political rallies for those that aren't currently in power. But there has been a little voice in the back of my head saying if I get caught on camera or someone leaks information, I could end up losing my job for bullshit reasons. Especially this year with the constant assault on our voting rights. How many times have we heard the words unprecedented assault on...whatever institution? And suing the state would be difficult at best.

So yeah...

With Robertson signing, that takes another team off the market. Florida and Vegas moved on. Are they going to strip him of the C? Are they going to trade him?

Honestly seeing him put up 20-25 goals and 30-35 assists for 55-60 points next season. He should be stronger. He should know what is expected and who his teammates are. The fact he stuck last season was huge.

Flexible right wing shot. Had a bit of a bounce back year with 23 goals. Toned down his antics. Showed up in the playoff. Wouldn't mind re-signing for another 3 years if the price stays about the same.

I loved IDW during this time period but couldn't get into comic book collecting because I moved apartments a lot and didn't need another collection to move.

Now that I am pretty stable, I am struggling to find these comics and some of them are extremely pricey. TMNT is the easiest but GI Joe, Transformers and Ghostbusters? Those are pretty hard to find.

However, I don't see a lot of collectors asking for these books. Did they just not print a lot?

Domino's are starting to fall and we'll probably be some pickup by the end of the week with the draft. Hughes officially can't be extended until after July 1st and while we are hopeful the extension will be signed on that date, that is a tad bit unrealistic.

Hope is to get a deal done in July. But anything before training camp would be ideal.

Honestly, if Guerin isn't at least having trade discussions with other teams I'd be disappointed to say the least just to have a card in the back pocket in case things go pear shaped.

What about you?

A lot of the scouts, especially in the college ranks have been there for a long, long time. The director has been there for 25 years. We know drafting has not been good, but these guys have been through multiple regime changes. So will Teasley axe them or give them a chance?

I was watching some clips on YouTube and it struck me that Picard is incredibly idiotic when interacting with Q. For someone that is supposedly really intelligent it feels like they really made Picard an idiot.

I am thinking of putting in my application to the OAG Office, specifically the Consumer Protection division. But I am...concerned that the whole office is overtly political and certain divisions are just part of the current issues going on in the US.

I would love to work on protecting people but just concerned anything done in this office is done with political goals in mind.

It feels like the last half of the 1940s and the first half of the 1950s are glossed over, especially Truman's presidency unless it has to do with World War II or his fight with MacArthur. During this time you had the formation of Vietnam and the Middle East. China and the Iron Curtain. You had Cuba entering Soviet's sphere of influence and the icing of French American relations. There were some important things happening during this time but everyone either associates it with Eisenhower or Kennedy or even Johnson.

There is a Homecoming blank variant but that's fifty bucks. And there aren't really any good covers of the good Doctor on any of the other covers. I am tempted to do a Star Trek Green Lantern blank since Picardo also played Blackhawk and Amazo in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.
