When I see that there is no Castlecoming climax in Rise of Red
It was like an entire 3rd act wss missing

Ginger Breadhouse is one of my favorite characters. Her story is crazy. She was bullied badly that she was homeschooled in elementary/middle school. When going to Highschool she would change her name because she didn’t want to be associated with her mother whom she was the reason for the bullying.
So let me get this straight. The children was bullying her. Her mother, a cannibal witch. She was bullied by other children because her mother was a cannibal witch. A cannibal witch, mind you, that eats children. In a world of EAH Where a disappearance can be written off as “t’was destiny.” These children decided to bully a little girl whose mother was a cannibal that was known to eat little children
Just watched Rise of Red
So I’ve been revisiting some of these Fairytale High school stories since I’m working on my own called “Bad End High” so I decided to revisit Descendants because of this soft-reboot going on. And boy does this film feel like a soft reboot.
Okay. Rise of red might really be terrible. It felt like there was a whole segment missing at the end. I literally checked the time code after they got the Sorceror’s cook book thinking “okay, so we got to still get to the Castlecoming event to stop the actual prank” only to see their was 8 minutes left of the film.
I mean the plan to stop the Villain kids don’t even make sense since the sorceror’s book was going to freeze them anways without Red or Chloe’s interference.
Honestly what I was expecting was for them to go to Castlecoming, Red and Chloe to may have or have not indirectly caused the prank on Bridget. This, in Red’s mind, could solidify her as a “bad guy” for the third act “I am my mom” internal conflict
From there they could have fixed the issue in the past, or maybe they are forced back into the present and Red woukd have to have a final confrontation with The Queen of Hearts.
It also doesn’t help that majority of the cast I don’t care about since they are characters stuck in the past.
I assume this is a fairly common criticism.
Now that the Marvel Ultraman comics are over, I can say without a doubt they were definitely comics that were written.
Instead of waiting for more reviewers to come in instead of the few these kind of films attract (that would already be into these sorts of films)
Honestly since Blood and Honey 2, the twisted childhood universe has been really fun. Not the greatest films put to screens but as horror has proven you don’t need to be a perfect movie to be fun, just a high concept can make a horror movie great.
Thinking on it Kamen rider Den-o’s back story is messed up.
So not only do Yuuto and Airi decide to do a cosmic abortion to stop the Imagin. Stranding Hana in a different time
But because of Ryotaro, who was excited for his niece, was a singularity point meaning that if they did make it through the cosmic abortion, Ryotaro’s memory would restore the timeline.
Meaning that they told Ryotaro to forget the baby, meaning they not only gave him a proverbial knife to take part in the cosmic abortion of his niece, but he also became the person to be the second death of his niece (ie. The “death of the name”)
No wonder the boy stressed out so much that he created a split personalities in the Taros.
Was playing with some Medabots game ideas and one of them was incoporatimg both Metabee and Rokusho (as both of them are selectable options for the protag) and was thinking of choosing Metabee gives you a wandering samurai Rokusho, it made me think that choosing Rokusho gave you a wandering cowboy Metabee
since some recent talks about digimon collection of either world games or story games came up, i had this idea for a hub world for a potential Story collection. so you get to suffer to the cringe.
with the six games in this potential story collection being: DS, Dawn, Dusk, Lost Evolution, and Super Xros Wars red/Blue I imagine the hub world being set in the "In-Between theatre" from the time stranger game. since the in-between theatre is a place inbetween world, it works as the hub world between games.
You play as one of the wondering faceless NPCs that wanders the theatre.
Mirei acts as the typical guy, commentater for the games. gives you access to the extras and presents to you what is playing in the theatre as you choose the "story to view." she will even tell you when "special visitors" appear in the theatre you can speak to.
When selecting what game to play, it treats it as a movie experience. you select it from Mirei as if selecting a movie ticket, and you go to your seat. look up at the theatre screen before a quick "zoom-in" as the "movie" plays and the game begins. Perhaps when you first start the game/finish the game you are even presented as nice paper puppet show like in Time Stranger.
for "Quality of Life" enhancements for the games, you go to the bartender and you give him your "order." like easier scan rates, higher EXP rates, random encounter adjuster, etc.
When you reach certain points during your playthroughs, you can return back to the in-between theatre hub and perhaps Mirei will tell you that the theatre has gotten some visitors. Like you complete the first digimon story/world ds game and Mirei tells you that "An empty seat has been filled" and you can find Alphamon at the bar. you speak to him and he is sitting there with his glass in hand contemplating the events from the DS game and how short-sighted his views were.
Why do you think the Power Rangers attempt at an “old man” story hasn’t caught on.

Soul of the Dragon
MMPR The Return (which ended on a blatant sequel bait I doubt we will get.)
And Boom seems to be doing it again with the upcoming “Green” comic. Do you think it has a chance to be the “old man” story to make an impression.
