i said this last time and ill say it again: its near impossible to balance kolossos while trying to be faithful to the source material
kolossos was and still is meta in alot of games, yes even TDE if your teams dumb enough and your ping doesnt ragebait you
kolossos has alot of problems relating to balancing with the first one being:
m1 dmg, hes simply just a m1 exe with 65 dmg for each m1 which got down scaled to around 50 in some games like OM with his 55 m1 dmg and SF with his 50 m1 dmg, getting hit once by this meant death after the other m1 or even after a charge if you where a tails or cream back in TD(or if you where slammed into the wall since in some games slamming would deal 10 extra dmg during charge meaning if he still did 65 dmg then a simple m1 + charge slam combo would be death)
m1 range/funky hitbox, this really only applied to the specific hitbox games with him in it like TD, SF and every other TD recreation, his hitbox was on his spiked arm which seemed to make his swing worse right? nah its swung in such a way that you cant tell if its an over head hitbox or maybe a horizontal hitbox especially with SF since its reach was extra annoying with his biggest counter being turn to the left and hope he doesn't flick the m1 that way
charge was simply a hit or miss as its high dmg but uncontrollability was always teetering on whats balancing and not with some giving him turning for it which gets mad annoying(cough cough OM) and SF with very and i mean VERY heavy turning like "captin turn right" ahh sensitivity, sometimes it would punish kolossos more than help or it would give kolossos an easy kill
grab is also hard to balance as in TD it was an instant lms ender with no way of getting out unless the kolossos felt merciful or cocky and decided to throw you(i might be mistaken but that was added for recreations not the og game) but in OM it was just a fighting game hitbox where it would reach you from across the map both where annoying for survivors and i never seen a balanced version, hell SF kolossos dont even have that ability
block is....actually block is fine since it was a punish ability that could punish you if you got baited
in a whole an exe that had an m1 that did 65 dmg, has a long and weird m1 hitbox, had an instant lms ender, has an ability to cancel your only self defense move, has a move that could drag you away from your team into the corner of doom and despair is hard to balance WHO KNEW???
