The Glen Fee, the last existing railcar of 1947 The American Freedom Train at the Galveston Railroad Museum in Galveston, Texas. The Freedom Train was a 7-car traveling museum that toured the United States from 1947 to 1949. Its collection featured historical documents important to American democracy, such as the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and Emancipation Proclamation. The Glen Fee housed Marines assigned as an honor guard for the documents. The car was originally built by Pullman for the New York Central Railroad in July 1926.
