Hi Guys! I am having a hard time deciding between two of my admits (MS CS in RPTU and MS AI in Würzburg).
My ultimate goal is to pursue a research career in AI (potentially after a doctorate). I have explored on all bases, from alumni to opportunities. While Würzburg is offering a dedicated degree in AI, RPTU has DFKI and MPI SWS right on the campus.
I would really appreciate the help from anyone who's already studying in Germany (or has already researched about this) and would be aware of the pros and cons.
PS: before anyone asks, here's my profile: 1.6 GPA (B.Tech in CSE), 7.5 IELTS, 1 yr work experience (internship at ISRO).

Hey everyone! I'm happy to share that I have collected my passport with the visa stamp. Thanks to all of you guys, the process was quite smooth.
Here's my timeline:
18th June: Applied on the CSP portal
24th June: Received corrections in the evening. Corrected and submitted again the same day.
25th June: slot booking was enabled. I booked a slot for 30th (took buffer time for document collection).
30th June: Passport submission and biometrics enrolment at VFS New Delhi
30th June: Passport received by embassy
2nd July: Embassy asked for my college transcripts on email and decided on the application an hour later
3rd July (evening): Passport was sent back to VFS for collection.
6th July: I went and collected 🙏
Overall the processing took 9 days (6 days by CSP portal and 3 days by embassy along with VFS).
My entire process was 18 days long (with my own delays).
Also, I chose the normal VFS service without the premium lounge. But funnily enough, my biometrics were conducted in the latter, with roughly 1.5 hours of waiting time.
Anyway, I'm glad to share my experience. Should anyone have a query, feel free to ask!

Carrier and service compatibility in Europe
Esim support
NFC support
I had to cancel my purchase of OnePlus 13s because I found out that it lacks n20 and n7 frequency bands, which are widely used in Germany.
Please let me know which of the above options is the best.
If there are alternatives, I'm open to suggestions. Preferably within INR 50k

Hey guys! Those of you who have recently applied for a visa through the CSP in India, could you please tell if a master's applicant has to submit a school leaving certificate (12th grade) or that of the bachelor's in the section demanding the aforementioned on the CSP?
Although it is directly asking for a school leaving certificate, I'm confused since a lot of universities abroad are also referred to as schools. Moreover, I couldn't find a field to upload my bachelor's transcripts and provisional degree. Where am I supposed to upload those?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Do TU9 universities offer better research opportunities in comparison to other TUs or high ranked universities (offering technical courses) across Germany?
Is it especially applicable for Artificial Intelligence (Künstliche Intelligenz)?
If you get an admit from a TU that offers several electives in AI/ a dedicated degree in AI (with research establishments in reach) vs you get an offer from a TU9 with a CS (Informatik) degree and not that many electives in AI, which one would you rather choose such that you get maximum exposure to research opportunities in AI (and potential doctorate opportunities)?

The mail said that more information has already been sent or will follow shortly. However, its been two days and nothing has arrived yet. Please let me know if any of you have received anything.
I recently submitted an application for MS AI (TH Ingolstadt).
I made a slight mistake before submission. Although within the aptitude assessment sheet, I correctly mentioned 25 ECTS for practical work experience, in the application portal I mentioned 73 ECTS. I filled that part before rectifying the sheet details. Actually the field says that it's supposed to be filled in 0-25 ECTS range. I completely missed that. But it was fixed in the excel sheet.
Although I have mailed the university about this error, could it penalize my application?
I used 73 because I had a 46 week work experience and it translated to 1800+ hours. (25 hours = 1 ECTS)
Hi everyone! I have an article that was recently accepted at an IEEE conference and will be published on Xplore, subject to meeting its scope and quality requirements.
I will be presenting the article next month at the conference. I have already uploaded the camera ready submission and signed the IEEE copyright form.
I wanted to ask if I should upload the article as a preprint on arXiv in the meantime? of course I'll reformat it in the preprint template in that case. But I'm mainly concerned about violating the copyright policy. Also, if yes, which license should I use on arXiv?
For context, the article is in CS AI and CS CV domain, with planetary data processing involved.
