Though I can smoothly draw straight lines without scale (practiced from many months) but why design exams dont allow it? bachpan se aaj tak scale use karwaya geometry box use karwaya fir ek din pata chalta hai ye wale exam mai scale use nahi kar sakte 😒.
(best part I had 1 eng drawing sub in btech and even there we used crazy scales and big ass protectors lol )

I had a question about the devices students generally use there. Do most people use MacBooks or powerful Windows laptops? Is there any need for a high-performance Windows machine with an RTX GPU, or are MacBooks commonly used?
I'm currently using a MacBook Air M2 8/256, and it handles my job work perfectly. Do you think it'll be sufficient for the two years of the program, or would upgrading to a newer MacBook (M4/M5) or a Windows RTX laptop be worthwhile?
Also, do you think having a tablet (iPad or Samsung Galaxy Tab with a pen) is useful or necessary for coursework or sketching?
I am a designer and looking to buy a touch laptop/360 laptop for my work. Budget is 50-55k.
