After Blue Beetle: Brand New Day, it’s official! Tom Holland is the best Blue Beetle ever! Full stop, period!

He’s the best Jaime Reyes to ever grace the big screen! I just fucking loved that fight with the League of Assassin’s at the end!

Remember when Deathstroke danced to Backstreet Boys’ “Large than Life” in Deathstroke & Batman (2024)?

Man, did the song blow up after that movie! Everybody was doing the “Deathstroke Dance” afterwards!

But hey, at least they got Christian Bale to return to the role of Batman after he supposedly retired after Bruce (2017).

“Rule of Cool” weapons

Weapons that would actually be highly impractical or functionally confusing in real life but are designed just to look and be cool.

  1. The Lancer (Gears of War) - An assault rifle with a chainsaw bayonet would be impractical and also hostile to the user, but it’s just awesome.

  2. Gunblade (Final Fantasy) - This wouldn’t be useful as a firearm or a melee weapon as there’s really no barrel to let the bullet travel and the handle is at an awkward angle for sword fights, but a sword and a gun together is a cool idea anyway.

  3. Ash’s Chainsaw Hand (Evil Dead) - Having a chainsaw as a hand would have a number of unspoken problems like being too heavy or maintenance, but again, seeing that is just cool.

  4. Rebellion (Devil May Cry) - Rebellion’s design doesn’t really make much sense for a sword with spikes aiming down at the wielder’s hand, a very sharp and prominent pommel, and would be weighted weirdly, but overall is just a stylish weapon.

After checking 11 different Targets and driving to another city, I finally managed to get the Spider-Man and Luna Snow 2-pack

It was out of stock in every Target around me. Luckily, yesterday there was a limited stock in one and finally scored one. I don’t think I’ve ever hunted that hard for anything before.

“Don’t call me that! That’s not who I am anymore!”

  1. The Flash (CW) - When Joe tries to talk down Savitar (An evil future version of Barry), he keeps calling him Barry only for Savitar to angrily retort that’s not his name.

  2. Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi - On Endor, Luke Skywalker reminds Darth Vader of his former identity of Anakin Skywalker, only for Vader to immediately respond by saying that name no longer has any meaning for him.

  3. Batman: Arkham Knight - When driving Two-Face to the GCPD, Batman tells him to settle down and calls him Dent. Two-Face tells him not to call him that, insisting that Harvey Dent is dead.

(Surprisingly Abundant Trope) Sharksploitation

Killer shark movie has been done so many times ever since Jaws released. So why not add a twist onto it? Sometimes, you don’t even need a synopsis of a movie when you have titles as blatant as these.

  1. Ghost Shark - A shark that comes back from the dead and can swim anywhere there’s water.

  2. Zombie Shark - Undead sharks that attack an island resort.

  3. 2-Headed Shark Attack - A shark. With two heads.

  4. Sharktopus - Half-Shark, Half-Octopus

  5. Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus - What you see is what you get.

  6. Sharknado - You fuckin’ know already.
