33 | Wales / UK | PC | Looking for the “game’s finished, but we’re still talking” kind of company 😊

You ever finish playing a game with someone, say you should probably get going, then somehow spend another half an hour talking about something completely unrelated?

Those are some of my favourite evenings.

I love games, but finding someone whose company makes me want to keep coming back is a huge part of it. The running jokes, getting excited about discoveries together, and having conversations that carry on after we’ve closed the game.

I’m a 33-year-old guy from Wales, and would love to find a long-term gaming friend to share all that with.

I’d describe myself as a relaxed, analytical casual. I enjoy figuring things out and trying different strategies together, but I leave the stress out of it. If we fail, we can laugh, adjust the plan and have another go. There’s a decent chance my brilliant suggestion caused the problem anyway 😆

I love getting properly immersed in games. Exploring everywhere, piecing together the lore, investigating something that definitely looks like a trap… all good stuff. I also like turning the HUD down where possible. Getting lost is much more atmospheric when you’ve done it deliberately.

Games I’d love to play together:

  • Fallout 76
  • The Outlast Trials
  • Palworld
  • Left 4 Dead 2
  • Back 4 Blood
  • Team Fortress 2

I haven’t started Fallout 76, The Outlast Trials or Palworld yet, so I’d especially love someone to discover those with.

Tell me what you’re into as well! I enjoy hearing why someone loves a particular game, especially if it’s something I’ve overlooked. If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to nerd out about your favourite, you have one now.

I’m comfortable with quieter company too. We might spend an evening chatting about absolutely everything, or get absorbed in playing with the occasional comment. We don’t need to fill every silence.

A few practical bits:

  • UK only, ideally Wales, and age 30+.
  • Mainly PC, but I also have a Switch 2 and PS5.
  • Usually around most evenings.
  • Happy to chat here first before moving to voice chat in an app that rhymes with rizzcord when we’re both comfortable.

We can have our own lives and still make time to play. I’d just like to find someone who enjoys coming back for another session as much as I do.

Drop me a DM if you think we’d get on 😊 A username is fine, and there’s no need to overthink your introduction. Tell me what you’re playing, or something you’d love to start with company.

A slightly chaotic ramble about games is always welcome.

Heya I’m Joe.

Multiplayer games are fun, but what actually makes them worth replaying to me is the dynamic and banter between the people I game with.

I’m less worried about what’s on the screen and more focused on finding a great gaming friendship where our playstyles and humour click.

I’d describe myself as a relaxed, analytical casual. I like trying different strategies, solving puzzles cleanly, and playing well as a team, but I leave all the stress out of it. If we fail a level, that’s just a good excuse to laugh, adjust the plan, and try again.

Availability:
Most evenings I am playing something at home. I sometimes get on early during the weekdays if I’m not too busy. I’m usually available during the majority of the weekend unless I have big plans.

The game experiences I enjoy:
I’ve got a varied taste spanning countless single and multiplayer games, but I especially love cooperative titles that encourage two people to actively think together and build real chemistry.

Multiplayer staples:
• Resident Evil Co‑op: RE5, RE6, or Outbreak
• Asymmetrical Co‑op: Hazelight’s games (It Takes Two, Split Fiction), and open to similar suggestions!
• Cinematic / Choice-Driven: Until Dawn, The Quarry, The Dark Pictures Anthology
• Co-op Staples: Portal 2, Left 4 Dead, Back 4 Blood, Dead Rising 2 (Off the Record)
• Shooters: Team Fortress 2, Quake Series, The Borderlands series (I own them all!)
• Fallout 76: (Huge Fallout fan, would love to properly dive into 76 if I have a partner to run it with!)
• Mario Kart
• Super Smash Bros.
• Mario Party

My top 5 games of all time:

  1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
  2. Donkey Kong Country 2
  3. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
  4. Resident Evil 4 (OG, but it’s really close between the remake 😗)
  5. Fallout New Vegas (Specifically after being modded to the point where it crashes every 5 mins 😆)

I've got loads more in my Steam library! We can easily browse each other's collections once we get chatting. I'm sure we'll have a bunch of bangers in common.

So yeah, I'm also a massive Zelda fan, and if you ever want to completely nerd out about the series together, I would love that 😊

Preferences:
• Age: Ideally around my age group (~25 to late-30s).
• Region: UK/EU (matching schedules and stable ping are a lifesaver!).
• Platform & Comms: PC is my main platform, so we'll use Discord voice calls to chat while we play. (I also have a PS5 and Switch).

How to Get in Touch:
I prefer talking through DMs, so please reach out that way!

To make sure we’re a great fit and to save us both the awkward small talk, please introduce yourself properly when you message. Drop me a DM with your name/age, where you're from, your platforms, and which games from my list caught your eye (or any other co-op bangers you love).

(And please don't overthink it or worry about making it sound perfect! A casual, unpolished ramble about your favorite games is 100% fine by me. I just want to avoid the generic "hey let's play" messages so we actually have something fun to chat about.)

I'm looking for genuine synergy and people who are down for real banter, so give me something good to reply to! Looking forward to hearing from you.

32 M UK - Looking for long-term friends and a casual gaming duo

Hey everyone,

I am a 32-year-old guy living in the UK, and I wanted to post on here to connect with some fellow neurodivergent adults for a genuine, long-term friendship. I find that I vibe best with people who prefer clear, direct communication and skip the exhausting social subtext.

I am looking for a real friendship where we can comfortably share random thoughts, swap memes, talk about our current interests during the day, and just be a consistent presence in each other's lives. I am a natural fixer and heavily value being a supportive friend; I am completely fine with mutual venting, talking through things when life gets stressful, and being a reliable sounding board whenever you need to get something off your chest. I like balancing a dark, dry sense of humor with actual emotional maturity when things matter.

For downtime, I spend a lot of my evenings gaming on PC. For me, multiplayer and co-op games are mostly just a structured tool to hang out. I care infinitely more about the conversational chemistry with the person I am playing with than the game itself. My playstyle is very analytical but relaxed; I genuinely love deep-diving into game mechanics, analyzing systems, and solving puzzles cleanly as a team. However, I have zero tolerance for competitive rage or lobby drama. If we fail a level, it is just an interesting puzzle to re-evaluate, figure out a better strategy, and try again.

I am usually active during UK evenings (BST), but I am completely down for asynchronous messaging throughout the day when free.

If you are around my age group (roughly 25 to late 30s), have a similar mindset, and want to build a high-quality friendship or find a consistent PC co-op partner without any social pressure, send a message my way with a bit about yourself. Cheers!

32 M UK - Looking for a fellow introvert for long-term friendship & casual co-op gaming

Hey everyone,

I wanted to post on here to see if any fellow introverts are looking for a genuine, long-term friend to talk to and connect with. I am 32, living in the UK, and I know how hard it can be to find meaningful, low-stress connections when you prefer keeping your social circle small and high-quality.

I am looking for a real friendship where we can swap memes, chat about random topics at our own pace, and just be a consistent, comfortable part of each other's lives. I really value being a supportive friend, so I am always happy to listen, talk through things, and be a reliable sounding board if you ever need to get something off your chest. For me, a great friendship means being there for each other when life gets heavy, but without any pressure or expectation to constantly perform socially.

A big way I like to unwind in the evenings is gaming on PC, which I find is a great low-energy way to hang out. For me, multiplayer games are mostly just a tool to connect. I care way more about the chemistry and quiet banter with the person I am playing with than the actual game itself. I would say I am a pretty analytical but casual player. I like to play well, figure out game systems, and solve puzzles cleanly as a team, but I have zero tolerance for loud competitive rage or getting sweaty over a loss. If we fail a level, it is just a good excuse to laugh, re-strategize, and try it again.

I am usually around during UK evenings (BST), but I am completely fine with asynchronous messaging back and forth during the day whenever we both have the social energy.

If you are around my age group (roughly 25 to late 30s), value a chill, low-pressure connection, and want to find a consistent friend to chat with or hop on a quiet Discord session with, drop me a message with a bit about yourself. Cheers!

32 M UK - Looking for genuine, long-term friends and a casual gaming duo

Hey everyone,

I figured I would post on here to see if anyone is interested in chatting and seeing if we vibe. I am 32, living in the UK, and I am looking for some genuine, long-term friends to talk to and connect with throughout the week.

Honestly, I am looking for a real friendship where we can swap memes, talk about random topics during the day, and just be a consistent part of each other's lives. I really value being a supportive friend, so I am always happy to listen, chat through things, and be there if life gets stressful or you just need to get something off your chest. For me, a great friendship balances having a good laugh with actually being a reliable person you can count on when things get tough.

When I want to unwind, I spend a good chunk of my evenings gaming on PC. For me, multiplayer games are mostly just a tool to hang out. I care way more about the chemistry and banter with the person I am playing with than the actual game itself. I would say I am a pretty analytical but casual player. I like to play well, figure out game systems, and solve puzzles cleanly as a team, but I have zero tolerance for competitive rage or getting sweaty over a loss. If we fail a level, it is just a good excuse to laugh, figure out a better plan, and try it again.

I am usually around during UK evenings (BST), but I am down to message back and forth during the day when I am free.

If you are around my age group (roughly 25 to late 30s), have a relaxed mindset, and want to find a consistent friend to hop on Discord with or just chat about life, drop me a message with a bit about yourself. Cheers!

• UK/EU only - for matching schedules and stable ping (but I can make exceptions if you're real persuasive...)
• 18+ only - looking for mature, independent, chill players
• PC is my main platform (I also have a Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5) - it’ll be easier if we stick to discord calls for voice chat

If you’re after a reliable gaming partner who’s here for good synergy, laughs, and more than one session, I’d love to chat.

Drop me a DM or message me here with a bit about your style, and let’s see if we click!
