Hi all,
What was the reputation of Boston college like in the 1990's/early 00's?
Did it have a good reputation for producing high performing students or seen as a dumping ground for people who weren't good enough to do A levels?
What courses did it offer in these times? Was it just gcse retakes, other level 2 courses and practical subjects?
Or did it also offer A levels, other level 3 courses and access courses?
How did it compare to Lincoln or Grimsby college or 6th forms at say Horncastle, Skegness and Alford ?
Hi everyone
Do you like and get on with your siblings ?
My sister (5 years older than me) has always had things better than me.
She got my parents when they were younger, had more time with my grandparents when they were alive for starters.
She got better schooling than myself and was able to go to a grammar school, went to 6th form instead of college, FE when fees were lower.
Hasn't had to compete for jobs during economic downturns like me.
Never had any struggles, bad luck or suffered any failures.
She has always had things better than me.
For those of you that attend 6th form what are your views and opinions on people that attend college instead ?
Do you feel superior to them and think that people that go to college are stupid ?
Are you jealous as you think people at college have more freedom and have less draconian rules to abide by ?
What do you think the differences are between people who go to 6th form and college ?
Let me know what you think ?
Looks like he got out of the legal business and became the owner of a night club.
Looks like he became a police informant after he left as head of security at Top Buys.

I just want to ask why don't more of you just go to college and get out of the school environment ?
I found the very thought of staying at school after year 11 the worst thing ever and nothing would have made me stay.
I found college more wide ranging and the scope of people there much wider.

Not fresh Jersey Tomatoes tho sadly.
The secondary school i attended didn't have a 6th form so once you had finished your gcse's in year 11 you had to leave anyway.
I understand that other people on here may have attended schools that had a 6th form and had the option to stay on.
When i was growing up at school 6th form was always held up as the option post gcse for the smart people where as anyone who was going to attend college was looked down on by teachers at my school and careers advisors.
Was this the same with everyone else ? and why id college looked down on ?

Was just thinking earlier on today about the 2001-2003 comeback trilogy as one thing came to mind regarding the Trotter's living arrangements.
Firstly i'm not the biggest fan of the 2001-2003 trilogy but there are some funny bit's in it.
The flat at Nelson Mandela House has always been the main home barring the montage at the end of time on their hands where Del and Raquel are seen at their Mansion.
Rodney and Cassandra are shown to have bought their own place and this is seen on several occasions from the Jolly Boys outing onwards and after Del & Rodney become millionaires they are seen living in an apartment by the Thames in the same montage at the end of Time on their hands.
During If they could see us now it is mentioned that Albert was living in a cottage by the sea also.
At the beginning of If they could see us now the Trotters are shown to have gone bust and end out back at Nelson Mandela House.
But as Rodney and Cassandra had already bought their own place around the time of Little Problems why didn't Rodney and Cassandra just move back there ?
With Cassandra working in finance I think there is a strong possibility that they would have kept that flat and rented it out ? If so they could have given the current tennents notice and moved back in.
Instead of all 5 of them living under the same roof ? (and 14 other families)
Not damaged packaging but great customer service all the same.
