Not Every "We're Hiring" Post Is Actually Hiring

Looking for a Google Sheets or Data Entry job these days is an experience.

You find a post that says:

"Remote Data Entry"

"Google Sheets Assistant"

"No Experience Required"

Sounds promising.

Then the first instruction is:

👉 Comment "Interested"

Hundreds of people comment "Interested."

Thousands, sometimes.

And then...

Nothing.

No reply.

No job details.

No interview.

No follow-up.

Apparently, they're interested in collecting comments, not hiring people.

For job seekers, every application takes time and effort.

If there's no actual opportunity behind the post, just say so.

It would save everyone a lot of wasted time.

The most expensive Google Ads mistake isn't bad targeting—it's bad tracking.

One of the most common problems I see isn't bad ad performance.

It's this:

Google Ads reports 100 leads.

The CRM reports 70.

The first reaction is usually:

"Google Ads is broken."

In reality, the missing leads are often caused by one of these:

• Conversion tags firing when a form starts instead of when it's successfully submitted

• Duplicate conversion events

• CRM integrations failing silently

• Attribution differences between Google Ads and the CRM

• Ad blockers, privacy settings, or consent restrictions

• Leads getting captured but never reaching the CRM

A quick way to diagnose it:

  1. Submit a test lead.

  2. Check if the conversion appears in Google Ads.

  3. Check if the lead appears in the CRM.

  4. Compare timestamps.

  5. Verify that the conversion only fires after a successful submission.

The goal isn't to make Google Ads and CRM match 100%.

The goal is to understand whether the gap is expected or caused by a tracking issue.

What's the largest discrepancy you've seen between Google Ads and your CRM?

Most businesses think their ads are failing.

But after looking at dozens of accounts, I've noticed the real issue is often one of these:

• Conversion tracking isn't set up correctly

• Meta Pixel is firing duplicate events

• Google Ads conversions don't match CRM data

• GHL workflows are breaking lead attribution

• Server-side tracking (Stape) isn't configured properly

• Leads are being generated but not followed up

As a result, business owners end up making decisions based on inaccurate data.

Curious, what's been the biggest challenge in your Google Ads, Meta Ads, or tracking setup lately?

Just wanted to know if anyone is having negative thoughts about Marriage?

Just wanted to know if anyone else has been having negative thoughts about marriage lately?

Growing up, marriage often seemed like a beautiful milestone, but the more stories, experiences, and challenges I see around me, the more questions I find myself asking. Whether it's concerns about commitment, compatibility, divorce rates, loss of independence, or simply wondering if it's still the right path for everyone, I'm curious to hear different perspectives.

If you've ever felt uncertain, skeptical, or even afraid of marriage, what shaped those feelings? Have your views changed over time?

Looking for honest opinions and respectful discussions.

Transitioning from Agency Work to Freelancing Without a Portfolio !

I have 3+ years of experience managing Google Ads and conversion tracking in agency settings. Recently, I've been considering freelancing, but one challenge is that I can't showcase most of my past work due to client confidentiality and agency policies.

For those who made the switch from agency employee to freelancer, how did you build credibility and find your first clients without a portfolio or public case studies?

I'd appreciate hearing about your experience and what worked for you.
