Are games becoming extra complex or am I getting older? 31M

I have been a casual gamer all my life - when I was younger it was FIFA, Counter Strike, Need for apeed, Warcraft(the original DOTA).
I have played aome other games here and there(Last of us for example), but I am not the type
of gamer who would spend ages on getting to the smallest detail of the game - I justbplay for fun(or getting angry for losing lol).
I downloaded Dota 2 yesterday to play casually, as otherwise I only play CS2 for a few hours in the evening.
That game felt extremely complex even though I know the basics.
The graphics felt a lot(not sure how to explain it), everything was super colorful and childishly made.
I felt overstimulated and couldn't concentrate on the game - I kept feeling lost.
Its also the thousands of options you get in games now - COD for example. Its hundreds of guns with hundreds of updates, crates to open and buy, skins and what not.
It takes me an hour to just go through the menus of a new game.
Need for speed(Underground 2 for example), used to have a decent amount of cars and tunes, but didn't feel so overstimulating.
Am I just getting old?

How do I cook sardines?

My wife bought some frozen sardines and now she doesn't feel like cooking/eating them(she has never cooked them, but has had some abroad and thought would give it a try).
Anyway, its up to me now.
I am planning on grilling them and the do some lemon and herbs.
But do I gut them? Do I remove the head?
I am not a fan of bones.
Sprat is usually popular at home, but its too smal so bones can't be felt when eating whole.
Any advice is welcome!

Toddler with a hemorrhoid

Hello,

It seems like our 3 year old has a hemorrhoid(we can see a lump down there) and she seems to be in pain to a point where she refuses to go until its too late.
Is there anything we can do or would we have to go to the GP?

Reporting confusing lanes

Where could one report a possible lane issue?
There is an area where when you get off the motorway, there are 2 lanes that show you can turn right, yet the right lane takes you to a lane that brings you back on the motorway and causes a lot of issues when people norice it late.

Doorbell sugestions

Hi,

I am currently looking for smart doorbell suggestions.
We used to have a Ring doorbell, but got rid of it due to the subscription costs.
We then got a Eufy one, but it's been struggling with live connection - sometimes it takes ages to load, and sometimes it doesn't load at all.
Signal strengths shows very good.

We are looking for a doorbell with an SD card to avoid further subscriptions.

Thanks!

Are H&M shoes worth it?

I have never bought H&M shoes before, but I came across a certain type of loafer I have been looking for and can't find anywhere.
They aren't real leather, but cost about £25 and are going to be worn a few times a year in the summer.
Can I expect them to hold onc or would they fall apart in no time?
I am looking for casual black leather loafers that can go with jeans and a t shirt(not the shiny leather type).

From 30% discount to 20%

It might be just me being petty, but I stopped buying a lot of the reduced items since they moved from 30% to 20% discount.
It feels like it's not a big enough discount for me to risk the less BBD..
Has the change affected anyone else's buying habbits?
I am talking about expiring items, where they had them at 30/50% where as now are 20/50%.

Brioche chocolate croissants

What happened to them?
They are about half in size now, look completely different.
Is that shrinkflation for us?

Is "magnet fishing" in canals legal?

I have seen a few videos of people "magnet fishing" in the states - they throw a big magnet and pull random things out of the water.
Is there anything stopping me doing this in the UK for fun?
Worst case scenario I clean some old
metals from the bottoms of the canal.
Also - where can one get a big magnet from?
The ones they were using seemed not much bigger than a fist.

Where can I sell old "shop" stock?

Years ago we tried starting a small dog accessory shop and we ordered 2 designs of harness sets(harness, lead, rope, poop bag and bows).
We ordered boxes and everything for packaging as well.
But it came out we were overly-optimistic and it didn't work out.
We then tried selling these at pretty much the price we got them for on ebay/vinted/marketplace, but not much luck(a few sets here and there).
We don't have a massive amount left, but maybe around 100 sets(give or take).
Where is a good place to try and sell these?
We've thought about a carboot sale, but I've never been to one before.

Lightroom subscription

Hello,

Until recently I had a subscription from Poland paying around $9 a month for Lightroom and Photoshop.
I only shoot as a hobby, so I don't use it often - I might use it once every few months.
I don't want to pay a lot, considering how often I use it.
What is my best option?
Are there free alternatives that work fineish(mainly worried about Nikon Raw files)?

I am M 30 and have been biting my nails since I was a child.

I stopped biting them a few years ago finally, although I still struggle with biting cuticles and skin around them.

Now although I have stopped biting them, they are extremely soft and fragile.

I am sure it will take a while to get better, but what can I do to help it?

Whenever they grow a bit, they start braking and having rough corners that feel really annoying.

I have tried some hardening nail polish, but I don't like the idea of having shiny nails.

I alao can't put it properly and feel weird asking my wife to do it for me lol.

What can I do to strenghten them?

When they get long - do I file or cut?

Any advice is welcome.

For the first time today I got so fed up with shitty drivers, that I decided to download the dashcam footage and report them.

I got to the Operation Snap website and saw the massive banner saying I might have to attend court.

What are the chances? Can you refuse if asked to do so?

I don't like the idea of helping the police do their job, yet having to attend a court as well(if needed).

The situations were running a red light and a second car using wrong lane twice in a row to skip the queue.
