[PA]Documentation for irrevocable trust
My grandparents set up an irrevocable Trust in 1989 when I was born, with me as the sole beneficiary. The Trustee is in independent CFP.
In recent months, communicating with her about the Trust has been extremely difficult. I've had problems with political ideology, patronization, and downright illiteracy. I'm disabled fighting for SSI so while the Trust doesn't have a whole lot (my grandparents were frugal, not rich), my life expenses currently are either welfare, or Trust.
I have never received any of the legal documentation about the Trust to know what my rights are, if she's getting paid, if I can assign a new Trustee, etc. Most of the time if I ask any questions about the Trust I'm given very vague answers or complete non-answers.
While I appreciate what she's done to help me via the Trust so far, I'm getting tired of being treated like a child or having to tell her things multiple times because she seems to have 0 reading comprehension.
I would like to be able to find out my rights and if I can assign a new Trustee, but she's an independent practice so I don't know if there's a way to get that documentation aside from asking her directly.
Does anyone know if there's a way to get the legal paperwork from when the Trust was established and any other documentation without having to go to the Trustee?
Idk if it matters, but for a more specific location, Trust was established in Bucks County.
