Aquaman beating Namor was generally agreed, but when the episode came out it wasn't considered a stomp, just decisive. In modern times however, Aquaman had his connection to the blue(clear) brought back and expanded upon(being a full on avatar these days rather than just being able to tap into it) and has generally been portrayed as a fairly high tier character in DC. Whereas Namor hasn't gotten much.

Question to anyone who hadn't seen/read bleach prior to Ichigo vs Yusuke, did ichigo's Analysis/Performance convince you to watch/read the series?

I've made it clear on this sub in previous posts that I have issues with how they handled Ichigo in the episode, but I think a good way to determine if an episode did a good job when it came to handling a character is if it convinced people who were unfamiliar with them prior to give their series a shot. I have my doubts that it did, but I wanted to get opinion from other people. Maybe they saw something in it that I didn't.

Note: this is strictly in the context of watching this episode. IE you didn't decide to watch/read it in the lead up or because of prior episodes based on it or you already intended to watch it beforehand, just watching Ichigo vs Yusuke convinced you.
