Hi,

I have a 19 Gli (dsg 82k miles) and Ive got about 1500 to spend for a mod. Current mods are: intake, catback exhaust, and rear sway bar. I’m torn between coilovers (probably from bc racing but please recommend others if there are better). Or I can get an accessport and go stage one ecu and tcu from eqt. I love backroad driving and the coilovers would probably make it feel so solid, and the car would be lower a bit so would look much nicer, but it will be the hardest install I’ve ever done whereas a tune is easy. But I’ve heard stage one really wakes this car up, and I’ve heard great stuff about eqt. Which would you guys recommend?

I’m looking for a laptop that’ll last me through college and I’m pretty close to pulling the trigger on this configuration:

My priorities are:
Durability/build quality
Screen quality
Battery life for coding, web browsing, note taking, etc.
Some gaming
Upgradeability and longevity

Other laptops I’ve been considering are:
ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 (32GB, but around $500-600 more expensive)
ASUS ROG Strix G16
Acer Swift X 14 AI

The Legion seems like a really good value because it has:
OLED display
RTX 5070
Upgradeable RAM
Extra SSD slot
Good reviews
Much cheaper than a similarly specced Zephyrus

A few questions for anyone who owns this laptop:

How is the real-world battery life for productivity tasks?

How does the build quality feel? Does it feel sturdy enough to be carried around daily?

Any reliability issues, fan noise issues, or thermal problems?

For OLED owners, have you had any concerns about burn-in from coding or productivity use?

If you were choosing between this Legion and a Zephyrus G16 that costs about $500-600 more, which would you choose?

I’d especially like to hear from anyone who owns this exact configuration or has used it for software development/programming.

Been trying to figure out what my next IEM should be and I’m kind of stuck.

Right now I’ve got:
Letshuoer S12 Ultra
Juzear Defiant

For sources I’m using a FiiO KA11 on my phone and a Sound Blaster G6X at my desk.

I really like both of them, which is honestly part of the problem. The S12 Ultra covers the detailed/technical side of things for me, and the Defiant is just a fun listen. Because of that, I’m worried I’ll spend $150-200 on something new and end up thinking, “yeah, this is nice, but it doesn’t really do anything I didn’t already have.”

I’ve been looking at the AFUL Performer 5+2 since I can get one for around $160, and I’ve also considered stretching for a Tea Pro, but I’m open to pretty much anything.

If you were in my shoes, what would you buy next? Would you go for something that’s a clear upgrade, or something with a completely different presentation?

Mainly looking for something that’ll make me think, “I’m glad I bought this,” instead of “this is basically my other IEM with a slightly different tuning.”

I’d love to pick up a new set with all the sales going on right now.
