Project ECLIPS (Prototype)

So I built this for the past 3 weeks and I wanted to share the first version and my very first (crash)tests of it since I might not be able to play and work on it until saturday and I want to share, get eventually some advices or feedbacks.

This is my first proof of concept but the goal is to achieve « gyroscopic » 3 dimensional flight.

I know, I’m still not there yet, it’s still a bit goofy and it’s not perfect.

For exemple I’m not sure on how to place the Juney engine for it to not get stuck with the rest of the contraption. I’m still fairly new with those.

Anyway, for short there are 3 chaining axis centered around the central ball bearing, one side is quantum linked to the ball and the other side is linked to the main structure (from the rail). They all are aligned to the center of the ball.

The central structure is made of two big wheels attached to each other, one side is attached to the bowls.

On the opposite side, the Juney wagon is pressing against the wheel and turning the joystick left or right makes the wheel off centered from the ball, depending on which direction you turn the joystick, with the engine pushing against it enabling the entire structure to rotate. The ball is also attached to the hover stone so it’s force is pushing oppositely against the Juney Engine’s vector force through the ball allowing everything to rotate around it.

The U blocks and rail are there only so the wheels won’t detach (basically limiting the turning angle « potential »from the centre)

The wagon wheel were a first failed attempt for consolidating the big wheels. But the U blocks are enough and work well.

Next step is fixing the engine, try to come up with a configuration to get a greater force from the engine by adjusting the distance between the wheel and the wagon. Then I’ll glue loop all the axis together to make them more robust.

Oh and maybe I should add an infinite wing somehow somewhere to improve the rotation, but again, I’m not sure how to implement it.

Voilà ! If you may want to give some feedbacks I will greatly appreciate it, thanks ☺️

How to Quantum Entangle a Hovestone :

I couldn’t find anything on how to Cull and Entangle a Hoverstone anywhere, so I figured it should be uploaded on this Subreddit if this is ever needed (I’m pretty sure you can use this technique for pretty much anything)

EVERYONE CALM DOWN ! IT WORKS !

Alright Guys I have a bit of footage to show you !

Just a bit because I realoaded and can’t replicate the same ZPE position again… so I I give up for today and will work on it all day tomorrow !

Just to let you know, in the video I’m actually driving by orientating the camera with the right joystick ! That’s right I turn by looking around where I wanna go !

It’ll be a blast to ride !

Good night 🌙

I need a bit of help

Hello people !

As you can see I’m working on a 3 dimensional spherical gear mechanism for a rocket ship. I’ve dreamed about this since I discovered the Atlas from Chesepuf.

I’ve been on it for a month and a half trying things every day.

The thing is that you have to build the entire design just to see if it could work or not and putting it together takes a while…

And now I can finally say that I have a working concept ! Well kind of…

So, if you’re interested and have some ideas I might not have thought about I’d really appreciate if you could give some suggestions on how to build a vehicle as functional as possible with the spherical gear you can see in the video or even improving the consistency or the gear itself, or even starting all over with a new idea.

I really want to come up with a working rocket ship so don’t hesitate.

I’m a big believer of the teamwork power.

Tomorrow evening I’ll try to gravity press the wheels as much as possible to see if it works better or not.

But yeah I think this could have a lot of potential but I’m starting to get burned out so… let’s chat and if this can at least inspire some of you even a little bit I’ll guess all that work was worth it.

The thinking tree is an ancient olive tree in Italy. It is believed to be over 1,500 years old and still produces olives

Located in Ginosa, Puglia, Italy, the "Thinking Olive Tree" (L'Ulivo Pensieroso) is a remarkable living monument whose twisted trunk naturally resembles the face of a deep-thinking old man. Its unique shape creates the illusion of eyes, a nose, and a beard, making it look almost like a sculpture carved by nature itself.

This ancient tree has survived countless generations and continues to produce olives today. It has become a symbol of Puglia’s deep-rooted olive-growing traditions and a reminder of the incredible shapes and stories that nature can create.

What do you think I’m trying to achieve with this Spherical Cog ?🤔

Yeah… I’m just seeking some encouragement. This thing is so hard to build, maybe the boldest concept I’ve ever worked on in TOTK

Just found Heartman’s location

Look what I found while hiking in Austria :) I guess I might as well deliver some parcels to Heartman.

Location: Herzsee - Austria

Are Snowballs slippery like ice ?

Hey guys ! I’m working on a really promising idea atm and I need something round that should have the less friction possible.

Do you know if Snowballs have less friction that usual objects ? A bit like ice or something in between ? Or do they just build up snow while rolling and there’s no other interesting properties to them ?

Also do they melt in no freezing zones like Hyrule field ? If so can you prevent it with some Frost Emitters ?
