This still requires the fatal falls dlc so no dlc doesn't work unfortunately.

The Mushroom boi skill drops from Jerkshroom enemies. And these enemies spawn in the arboretum. So normally you need to have the bad seed dlc to drop the item. But the thing is, the fatal falls boss (scarecrow) spawns jerkshrooms during the fight. Normally these spawned ones do not drop blueprints. Because they are not eligable for dropping them. This is also the case in malaise spawned enemies afaik. But there is an item in the game that makes any enemy in the game eligable for dropping its blueprint: the hunter's grenade.

SO with that logic, it SHOULD be possible to get a hunter's grenade and use it on one of the jerkshrooms the scarecrow spawns. But you'd have to deal with both a boss(with really high attack speed) and an elite enemy and also reduce the elite enemy's health to 40% and use the extractor on it. Which isn't impossible but is insanely hard.

I'm planning to try this one on a fresh save file. It sounds interesting.

Ok "want to like" wasn't the correct phrase. I LOVE the queen's rapier. It's probably my new favourite weapon even though i'm not really a brutality player. But i see that a lot of people don't like it much. I personally like using it with point blank, as the reality slash is actually considered ranged, so it gives me a very good damage boost. But what do you think?
