Moving to NYC and looking for sublet ASAP!

Hi all! I’m moving to NYC on SEP 1ST and am desperately looking for a furnished sublet. I'll take the bed, chair, desk if the person doesn't want it—I'm trying to cut down on costs. Ideally, I’d love to find somewhere I really like and potentially stay longer or sign a year-long lease down the line.

I’ll be working at Simon & Schuster in Midtown Manhattan, but given my budget, I’m assuming Queens or Brooklyn will probably make the most sense.

A little about me: I’m a 25-year-old guy, an Emerson College alum originally from Miami, and I’ve spent the last two years living in Los Angeles. Now I’m ready for the next chapter of my life in NYC!

I’m clean, respectful, easygoing, and looking for a comfortable place with good roommates and a welcoming environment. I would prefer two roommates max and, most importantly, budget would be 1300 max. PM—I would love to talk more.

[Offered] $1,176 Furnished Private Room + Half Bath in Glendale 2BR/1.5BA — Sept 1 — Parking Included

Hi everyone! I’m moving out at the end of August and looking for someone to take my room in a 2BR/1.5BA apartment in Glendale, available September 1.

The apartment is in a great location — about an 8-minute walk from the Glendale Galleria, The Americana at Brand, and Downtown Glendale. Everything you need is right there.

Rent: $1,176/month
Available: September 1
Lease: New 1-year lease directly with the property manager
Roommates: You’ll live with 1 other roommate

The room:

  • Private bedroom
  • Private half-bath
  • Shared full bathroom/shower
  • Huge closet
  • Bed + mattress (which has had a cover) included
  • Desk + chair included
  • Can come furnished as shown

Apartment/building:

  • Dedicated parking spot (it's one for both of us so you would use on street parking every other month)
  • Laundry in the building
  • A/C + heating
  • Water + trash included
  • Gas, electricity + Wi-Fi not included
  • Furnished common areas

I’m happy to do in-person or virtual tours.

This is not a short-term sublet!! The incoming tenant will work directly with the property manager and sign a new 12-month lease beginning September 1.

DM me if you’re interested or have any questions! Happy to send additional photos/video or set up a tour.
