Discovery Princess - Is making dining reservations really needed?

I keep getting email recs to make dining reservations. If I were to walk in at any dining spots, how long can the wait be? I just don't want to feel lik i have a set time to eat, just go with the flow for each day.

Also, is there a list of all included dining places on board so I know what to expect? I know there are paid dining options too.

CA Auto insurance - About $9k per year is overpriced?

CA- Los Angeles county. Been with Farmers for 10+ years, but I recently took over policy holder from my dad. We have 3 cars: 2021 Rav4 hybrid, 2024 Rav4 Plug in hybrid, and 2025 camry hybrid. I saw that my next 6-month bill is +$400 more than last years, in addition to all the discounts/adjustments already added. Cars are definitely on the newer side, no tickets/accidents. I am bumbed out this is how much it cost for a long-time auto insurance holder with this company.

If this is a lot for California, any other auto insurance recommendations I should explore?

(Discovery Princess Cruises) Mexican Riviera - Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta

Will be taking my first cruise around October. Was thinking do I need to buy their excursions when disembarking in those three ports? Ideally, planning to sightsee at common areas in those places, and maybe check out the food/local places. Are they walking distance from the ports or do I need to to use a rideshare/taxi? From my understanding, we have the whole day for each ports, can we go back to the ship any time?

For those who have already visited these areas, any advice you could give me and my family? Also, do these places accept apple pay or I need to convert USD to pesos?

On the app, I am seeing excursions ranging $50+ per person. Any places/activities more lower budget or we can just travel on ourselves?

Pay for Wifi service?

First timer here. I'm not planning to us my phone too often, but for sure viewing the event/plans onboard and family communications. I heard the app is free without extra fee, which includes a messaging function? If that's the case, I am food without wifi purchase? Is it more common for folks to buy a wifi service or not?

First cruise ever and advice?

I'm planning to book my first cruise with my family on Discovery Princess to Mexico. Can someone clarify if the complimentary food is 3 entries per day or is unlimited at anytime?

Any must know tips and tricks to make cruising enjoyable for first timers? I am not planning to buy any packages as of now.

How to find what you like in nursing?

I am reaching 2 yrs on MS/tele unit. I am just exhausted mentally and physically. There is a lot of issues I find frustrating, like always having to " CYA" or pts/family members making false accusations, like we always need to protect our license... I don't know how nurses with 5+ years of experience are still doing it, while I am constantly contemplating my life choices on a daily basis. I feel like I am stuck because I don't have a plan b in what other specialties to try, but won't give me too much stress with decent pay. My hosp has other tele units with specific populations and ofc ICU/ER, but those don't interest me. I do like the hands-on part of nursing, but also want something I can transfer my skills to without pigeonholing me in the future. Any advice?

Is it best to visit zion national park early morning or late afternoon (after what time?) in May?

I'm hoping to beat the crowd, but also enjoy my hikes still with great views/weather. Was planning before 7 am, but seems like a lot of ppl doing that in general.

Teacher/healthcare giveaway

For the recent chipotle promotion for teachers and healthcare, I recieved an email that I won one. However, the email was from "Teacher Thanks" and they verification link went straight to asking teacher credentials. The fine prints mentioned "“Healthcare Professionals” or “Teachers”, but I don't see an option to choose healthcare professionals. Anyone found out how?

I am starting to take my health seriously because of my physical health issues. I have an eos near me. Is there anything I could say to reduce my annual fee of $60? I work in healthcare and just wanted a basic plan, but affordable for me while paying my monthly bills.
