Thank you Weatherford

Was driving through weatherford making a cross country trip to start a new job and my truck dies on i-40 in one of the many construction zones. AAA was being difficult because I didn't know where to tow it. A tow truck driver with AAA luckly just showed up. He got me off the side of the road and figured out where to tow it.

Cummings chevy dealership got us back on the road in 2 hours, let us bring our dogs in while we waited. I was a blabbering mess when I walked in and they were very kind.

I never thought I would be praising a tow truck company and a car dealership

I can't stand Brick

I stopped watching a couple times because the show made me cringe. After watching recently I realized every show has a "villain" this one happened to be their youngest.

I do appreciate the no laugh track

So it begins

I bought a cheap set on Amazon to start, was very content with my purchase. I didnt understand why people had backpacks full of discs. I went to the brewery for a shirt and end up with a disc aswell, im going to need a bigger bag which means room for more discs

Buying a car out of state

I travel for work with my home state being in Ohio, currently in NC about to take a job in California. My car is getting up there in miles. How does the process work being in a different state? Would buying off costco make the process easier? Where would I look for rules to this?

Over these houses

Im a travel RT, I love the travel part of it but I'm over the housing part. I get housing is expensive but I feel these landlords are trying to get rich off of us. Charging high rent for ran down houses in the less desirable part of town. Furnished with a 20 year old bed and tiny old couch. I find myself going to habit for humanity right after I move to make the place liveable. I havent been to a place yet that has had hangers

Investing 100k

I was saving for a 2nd house but once I saved for the down payment I realized it will not be worth it. I have about 40k in voo currently. I have a 50k saved for my emergency fund.

Any suggestions for 100k?

Stocks vs real estate?

For a long i convinced myself that real estate was the key to wealth. I saved 100k wanting to put down on a duplex. The more I look into buying the more cost I see associated with the house.

A house goes up around 5% a year according to Google. Wouldn't it be smarter buy a stock like voo and forget about it for 30 years?

Not getting enough fats

I just started tracking my macros with my fitness pal. Carbs I have been pretty good on, protein really good, but fats are a struggle. I don't really have many extra calories to add oils.

Today I bought 85/15 ground beef was using chicken breast & 93/7 ground turkey before
