I wanted to upgrade my vr setup from HTC Vive to Pimax 5k - which I wanted for years. But then I realised that at this point pimax 5k is hella old. But looking at the market I dont think there are any high FOV headsets made anymore.

Its like every headset now is just quest 3(which I would never buy). Steam Frame, PICO 4 Ultra - or even the new pimax headset - the company that literally made the highFOV headsets - Pimax Dream Air(btw I think it costing 2k is wild). Its essentially all the same type of headset now. The only outlier is bigscreen beyond 2e really.

So quesiton to people who were able to experience something like pimax 5k, 8k or any other very high fov headset: was the experience just...not that good? I like my htc but anytime I use it, it feels like Im looking through...well - goggles. I was hoping that highFOV would change that. But maybe for the last few years ive been focusing on the wrong thing.

I was playing with some friends yesterday and we killed 2 bosses - both times I had a problem with using rememberances. We played on shared progression. We killed the guy with the spear first and despite picking up the rememberance - it didnt allow me to use it. Then we went to the ice part and killed the child boss. I also got her rememberance and it also didnt allow me to use it at the seller. But at that point I also noticed the previous boss's rememberance started working - not sure why or how. When I go into the area on my singleplayer world cutscene plays everytime but there is no boss for me to kill. I even clensed both the red glows after bosses but it didnt fix(had to do it on my singleplayer world because firend didnt want to progress because of some npc whatever thing).

Is there a way to fix this without resetting the whole world? I dont really want to play the game from the start.

I dont really rmemeber if it wa revanced or vanced version, either way it was pretty old and now it doesnt work. Any alternatives?

Some time ago(year or 1.5?) I bought a new gpu. I upgraded from GTX1060 6gb to RTX4070ts 16gb. I updated all the drivers of course and started using it. And after playing with it for some time now it just feels slower than it should. Is there a way to check some kind of bench how it compares to other PCs with similar specs? I have plenty of space, Im running system on m2 drive and games too(on the other m2 drive)

I recently returned to my long time game(Scrap Mechanic) and its running visibly worse now than it did with my old gpu. Even in a new world.

My hardware: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, motherboard B550M DS3H, 64gb ram DDR4, RTX 4070ts 16gb vram.

Im not all that knowledgable with PCs so Im not really sure how to even check what is wrong with the pc. And yes I do turn it off and on, doesnt help. AI told me it could be some kind of old gpu drivers but I would prefer to hear opinions of professionals.
