I have a 2009 Lacrosse CXL about to hit 85,000 miles. It has one of the last of the 3800 engines, as they stopped making them in 2008.
She runs great, but I've always heard these engines are capable of getting up to 30 mpg. She gets more like 18-20 mpg, usually around town.
On a road trip last fall, I don't recall getting much better than that. Of course, she drove really well, and I was not driving slow. I know I don't exactly drive slow day to day either, but I'm not going nuts with it or anything.
What kind of mileage are you guys getting with your Buicks?
