Second attempt at a graphgan… and my first

I was dissatisfied with the original (in the photos with two, you can see the newest one is on the left, and the oldest is on the right), so I made a second one. I actually counted my stitches consistently the second time with safety pins, and counted more carefully where the color changes occurred. In the first one, in what I thought would make sense for counting, I did it like amigurumi, where it went the same direction always, and I just fastened off and restarted instead of chaining and turning. Clearly that was a mistake (you can also see where I had to put stitches back because I managed to lose them on the way).
I’m super happy with the new one though! I’ve learned a lot between the two of them, and am happy to take a bit bigger rest from such a large-scale project for a while 😆
Center shape taken off of Google Images (I think it was a photo from a sticker on eBay or something) and thrown into StitchFiddle myself!

Skeleton for my younger cousin going into nursing!

My younger cousin is about to start nursing school, so I made her a skeleton! Slightly modified the pattern so it would be more “accurate” 😉

Lil conglomerate monster

This is my second attempt at the main body shape. I had to modify the pattern slightly to get satisfactory lip coverage of the teeth, and once that succeeded, I decided to give him a bunch of cool bonus body parts!

Alien with bucket hat who can sit!

I’ve only ever done cloves for garlic, and I decided to use those powers on this guy to give him… sitting abilities 😂

Quartet of Mothmen

I’ve been on a mothman-making kick for the last few weeks, as this pattern works up quickly and is satisfying for making lil guys, it gives me an excuse to use up my black chenille yarn, and I’m on a quest to make one to my perfectionist side’s success specifications 😅 I also experimented with using regular acrylic yarn, which also works just fine 😊

Which one is your favorite?

Also put the newest Mothman with fellow West Virginian, the Flatwoods monster ☺️

The mothman in the book likes lightbulbs, so I also made it one 😆
