I (30M) just moved into my first solo apartment, and it’s been a lot quieter than I expected. I figured I’d finally give one of these AI companion apps a try, but there are so many now that it’s hard to know which ones are actually worth using versus just having good marketing.

What I’m looking for is something that feels natural to talk to good conversation flow, remembers previous chats, has a consistent personality, and doesn’t just agree with everything I say. I don’t really care about flashy features if the conversations feel scripted. I’ve been testing a few apps over the past week, andLustcrush has probably surprised me the most. The conversations feel less repetitive than I expected, and the characters seem to stay in character pretty well over multiple chats. I’m still comparing it with a couple of other apps, though, so I’m curious what everyone else’s experience has been. If you had to recommend one AI companion app in 2026, which would it be, and what makes it stand out from the rest? I’m interested in honest opinions, whether it’s for conversation quality, memory, customization, or just feeling the most human overall.

Every time I travel I sleep way better in the hotel bed than at home and I’m pretty sure it’s the pillows. Whatever I buy at target or costco feels great for a few weeks and then goes flat. Mostly a side sleeper. Is there a way to buy whatever hotels use, or something close that doesn’t cost $200 a pillow?

Not the pitch, not the case study on their website, just the honest version.

Specifically curious whether anyone has been through a real P1 incident with a third-party provider and what that experience was actually like. That’s the moment where support quality either holds up or completely falls apart, and no vendor is going to tell you the ugly version of that story in a sales call.

I’ve been experimenting with tools like Framer, and I keep running into the same issue: I ask for a specific font or tell them what the vibe we’re going for is, but the tool quietly swaps in a Google Font or something close-ish.

I’m not a developer or a serious designer, so I understand if there are technical reasons. But from a non-expert point of view, it’s confusing. If I say the client uses a particular typeface, I expect the output to either use it or tell me it can’t. Instead it gives me something that looks similar enough at first glance, but wrong enough that the client notices.

Is this because the tools don’t work with the font files we’re using? Or is there some other more complicated reason why it isn’t working?

Quick question for anyone who’s dealt with event emails at scale. We’re trying to standardize how we generate calendar invite links that work across Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar, and other email clients, but the behavior still feels inconsistent depending on the platform. What’s your approach here? Any setup that’s been stable in real use?
