MOTO DELI

As a tower district and district 1 resident, I could not be more disappointed that MOTO is going to host Rob Fuentes and Jerry Dyer tomorrow. I LOVE both MOTO and Mirror Coffee but I’m no longer going to support them if they’re supporting Fuentes and Dyer.

Fuentes literally has broken up families in our community by working with ICE. He also wants to approve SEDA. Hey Moto, you want even more people flocking to the suburbs away from the center of town where your business is located??

Fuentes is backed by Dyer, which is another problem. What kind of person takes the endorsement from someone who has an extensive history of racism and that SA’d an underage girl?

Sorry MOTO, it was awesome to have you, but I’ve broken up with restaurants for way less.

*Edit because I got asked and dm’d asking about this. Here is the flyer for a counter action being planned (not by me)

Edit 2: Moto has confirmed that Fuentes/Dyer aren’t hosting an event there tomorrow. Moto confirmed that they had spoken with Fuentes/Dyer and were willing to host the event but didn’t receive a final confirmation for the booking. I personally will still go to Moto but will watch closely how they move going forward. I personally have a problem that they were willing to host this event if they had gotten the final booking.

Edit 3: According to Fresno Resistance, they learned about the event directly from Dyer and Rob Fuentes, who said the fundraiser was scheduled to take place at Moto tomorrow. Their full comment as well at Moto’s comment is linked above on the Instagram post.

23’ Taos Remote Start

Bought a ‘23 Taos SEL a few months ago and for the life of me can’t get remote start to work through my app. I can lock, unlock the doors, and get notifications through the VW app but can’t use remote start. I get this error in the app every time but when I’m at the infotainment screen there’s no additional pairing pending? Would love to be able to start my car through my app when it’s 100 degrees outside and let it start to cool down.

Zig

Zig’s jump from frosh in TNG as a scrawny nerdy kid playing in a band with Maya/singing in the musical to his bully villain arc in Next Class is so unhinged. Is this the worst character arc in Degrassi?

Can’t remember the Grocery Store?

This is driving me crazy. Last time I was here in business I went to what I would call a little more upscale grocery store. Not quite Whole Foods but more like an Albertsons if anyone knows that brand.
I think it was towards Beaverton or Tigard and had an upstairs parking lot? Like I came downstairs or something to get to the front door. Can’t remember what it was called and can’t find it 😭

Edit: it had like an annoying one way street or something too behind it. Like hard to access the store.

Edit: it’s the Fred Meyer yall are pointing out. Thanks!!

Help with crate rest 101

Hi everyone, our 6 going on 7 year old pomchi (12lbs) had his first IVDD incident last night. Screaming/yelling after jumping off the bed and then temporary loss of back legs completely. Back legs have been coming and going since. Got him into the vet today and she gave him meds and said 6-8 weeks of crate rest (she’s gonna see him again in 2 weeks). She kind of explained crate rest and thought we understood in the moment but of course it’s been a whirlwind and I just found this group and am looking though past posts as I can but just wanted some clarity/best practices.

We need to keep him in the crate as much as possible, that part seems obvious/easy.

Going to the bathroom; she said to support him and carry him outside to the grass. He’s peeing fine, not sure on poops yet but think he went this morning so will make sure he goes in the morning since he didn’t tonight. Is it ok to carry him to the grass and then let him sniff around (hobbling) until he pees/poops? He likes to “find the right spot” every time.

She said a sling was optional but with how much it seems like he is having trouble with the back legs seems like it could be useful? Is this something we should do while he goes potty?

I guess adding on to the sniffing around thing he does seem to get a little more control over his back legs after he gets going a little bit after leaving the crate. But I’m worried this is too much movement.

She also mentioned a brace for when he heals up but is this something he could/should wear while recovering??

Appreciate all the help from the Reddit community ❤️
This really sucks 😔
