Can be any genre! One of mine is Jurassic Park for sure. Also the original Star Wars trilogy. Not technically the coziest of movies, but they just make me so happy. Oh, and The Mummy 1 and 2!
Curious what you guys watch when you're feeling a bit blue?
And by that I mean the preview. I can't add anything to the bottom of the screen, since that's invisible I've managed to zoom it out a bit, using the video settings, but no matter what else I do I can't actually see the entire screen. HELP.
Edit: I'm not talking about the placement of the various thins in editor. I'm saying no matter what I do I cannot stop the preview in the Editor Display section to NOT be so zoomed in it's useless. Google says there should be a little scale adjuster but that doesn't exist on my screen. I've sat with this for over two hours, no youtube video helps, I can't send a support ticket no matter how hard I try, and the bot in the discord just kept repeating what I've already tried.
I've adjusted the video settings so the base canvas resolution is what my screen is. I've changed the output scaled resolution to something smaller - now I see more of my screen. But no matter how much I adjust that I cannot see the bottom of the screen.
So, I finally sat down and Googled how to unlock Breaking Point, and I know what I'm supposed to do. I'm supposed to find his sword in the ground next to a tree, in Blissful Retreat.
However, it's not there. I waited a lot longer than you have to, I'm on chapter four of the main story, and I've started repairing Blissful Retreat. So first off, it doesn't look like all the guides I've checked describes or shows in pictures/videos. But also, the sword just isn't there. I have no clue where I'm supposed to look for it instead or what I'm supposed to do in order to fight him.
There's even a signpost right where the minimap says the boss should be, which has a BUNCH of comments from people basically saying "wtf, where is his sword????" So I'm not the only one who can't find it. I tried google, I tried searching this sub, I tried youtube. Thus far I haven't found anything that can help.
I should mention that while the boss icon is visible on my minimap, it's not visible on the map itself if I go to that menu.
If anyone has any ideas I'd be happy to hear them, because I have no clue what to do or how to find him.

I realized today I've been modding and similar for over seventeen years. It made me sit down and reflect on what my experiences have been, and made it me curious to hear other women's experiences as well. The good, the bad, the awesome, the meh, the downright shite.
There are no right or wrong answers, just your own feelings on the matter. It doesn't matter if you've modded on Reddit, twitch, discord, another forum, etc. Doesn't matter if you've modded for a tiny community or a massive one. It's irrelevant if you modded for a week or a decade. Your answers are just as relevant and I'd love to hear them. You don't at all have to share any identifying details to answer. Of course, if you've modded or do still mod on Reddit do NOT identify them in any way/shape/form. No links, no hints, none of it. An "I used to mod a sub a while ago" is enough of an answer.
I just realized I've had some experiences that weren't great, simply because I am a woman, and I'm partly wondering if my gender had anything to do with it, or if it was just a shitty community.
I'd love to know what you liked and didn't like about modding. If you were ever treated different because of you being a woman (includes NB and trans women), or if that didn't matter at all. Maybe you have some really awkward experiences you'd like to share?
Honestly, I'm just really curious because I have very few friends IRL who mod anywhere, so I don't have a lot of people to ask. Dr Quinn is my ultimate comfort show, and I'll tell you why.
It's heartwarming but has drama, but the drama feels very authentic. Even when it's kind of over the top, it feels reasonable based on when it takes place. Even when it's super sweet and fun so much is also dark, but again realistically so.
I'm looking for something similar.
I'm currently watching the new Little House on the Prairie but it doesn't have that many episodes. Of course I can watch the original too after. But really can't have too many alternatives to look through.
I know of Anne with an E, but don't know if it's geared more towards kids. I want something that deals with grown-up or world issues, so to speak.
A must is that it takes place somewhere around then. Doesn't matter if it's a new show or not. While I'd love it to have some romance I don't want it to be solely romance and romance drama.
Any suggestions are very welcome! Aside from Dr Quinn I haven't watched any similar shows.

EDIT: Just want to say thank you guys sooooo much for the suggestions! I genuinely had only heard of like 1-2 before, so I have a lot of "new" (to me, you know) stuff to look into! It's so important to me to have comfort shows I can switch to when things get a bit tough with my mental health, so I'm really grateful for the help! Long story short: Posted in our sub saying "I'm 15, can you give advice on [situation]." As I always do when someone says they're a minor I went to their profile. There it says in A LOT of posts that they are 18, they frequent NSFW subs, writing plenty of sexually explicit content.
They've been called out and hid their entire profile and deleted their post from our sub - except they had one version of it auto-removed because it wasn't in the form of a question so I can still see that post. Their profile is marked as NSFW (still visible).
Is there anything that should or could be done about it? I mean, I've banned them from our sub because one way or another they're lying about their age. If they're actually 18 but pretended to be 15 for some reason (they posted that thing in a BUNCH of communities), who cares. But if it's the other way around surely that's an issue?
I'm fine to just leave it be, but figured it didn't hurt to check. Especially if it comes up in the future, then it doesn't hurt to already know what to do, if anything.

I'm in the mood for horror, but I'm too exhausted to keep focus for longer than 90-ish minutes. I also want something straightforward. I.e. if it says it's a slasher, then I want a slasher. If it says it's a haunted house movie, then I want a haunted house movie. Nothing where X is subtext for Y or where you can spend hours analysing each and every scene.
I've already seen a ridiculous amount, but I don't mind re-watching honestly.
Not looking for something too heavy on the gore. Some is fine but not excessive gore.
I don't want to be confused at the end. I don't want massive twists and turns.
I tend to lean more towards paranormal movies like ghosts and whatnot, but I'm open-minded on that.

So, maybe confusing title, so I'll try and explain.
I'm relatively new to crocheting, and I absolutely cannot for the life of me understand written patterns. I've spent hours and hours and hours trying but for some reason my brain just can't do it. That's fine though, because there are loads of tutorials on youtube. You just have to know what to look for.
Hence me making this post.
I'm not crocheting for any other reason than to have something to do while I spend most of my life in bed in front of TV shows or movies. It is however, still fun to have something to show for it when I'm done, so I don't want to just make a huge square that can't be used for something afterwards.
Because I'm a beginner I'm looking for the kind of project that once you figure out how it's supposed to be made, you can just turn off your brain and let your hands go nuts.
Beanies were the last thing I made, since when I learned what stitch to use and what yarn I had worked best, I could just go. I only needed to somewhat keep track of how many rows I'd made, but then again it was fine if the beanie was a bit bigger than intended, etc. So that's like the perfect example of what I'm looking for. I've already ended up making like five beanies, so that's why I'm looking for something new.
So any kind of not massive projects where as soon as you've figured out what the stitch is, and how to do x or y, you can just mindlessly crochet to your hearts content without having to constantly go back to the video every 1-2 rows to make sure you're doing it right.
Any suggestions are helpful, and obviously I'll look for videos myself so no one has to take the time to do that!

In this case it was my landlord. Twice we've needed to meet up to discuss some things and twice he was late. Like, very late. The first time was a couple of weeks ago. He was supposed to show up between 3-4 PM but never did so at like 7 I got in the bath. And then he shows up. And I have to stand with wet hair in a raggedy robe for our brief discussion. Sigh.
Today he was supposed to show up at 3 PM. He did not. So at 5 I went to the grocery store because I was starving. He showed up at half past 6. Sigh.
Oh, well, hopefully I won't have to see him anytime soon again so that's all good.
Do you have any chronically late people in your lives that frustrate you too? Or are you the one who's late a lot?

With cozy-adjacent I genuinely mean if you can use wand (wemod) to be invincible or at least a lot stronger then that's good enough for me. As long as the game in general isn't pure horror or anything.
I just finished My Time at Sandrock and I have no idea what to play next. I love traditionally cozy games and farming games, but I've realized I need something with more of a story right now to feel excited about gaming. I'll list some games I love just to give you an idea.
Coral Island, Stardew Valley, Roots of Pacha, Cozy Grove, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Fran Bow, all the Nancy Drew games, Don't Starve (and Together), Spiritfarer, Minecraft, The Long Dark, Skyrim.
I also own Fields of Mistria and Paleo Pines but wasn't able to get into them. I've tried My Time at Portia since that'd be the obvious choice but wasn't even remotely able to get into it, and I tried twice. I love The Forest and after I'd finished it vanilla with friends I played it alone and turned off enemies just so I could chill while hunting animals and cutting down trees to make a base with.
However, a lot of these games just don't have enough of a story to keep me entertained for long.
Bonus if you can have a house of some kind and there's some form of romance but not a must. Bonus if you can create your own character. Massive bonus if you can play with a controller. It can be pixel or cartoon or more realistic or whatever. 2D or 3D. It's fine if it has some puzzles, as long as they're not ridiculously hard.
I own and have heard great things about Graveyard Keeper, but I've also heard that it's ridiculously hard if you don't keep looking at the wiki as you get started and I don't really feel like having to do that all the time.
I have a relatively good gaming PC.
