Tire options for 2021 Pinacle AWD

I have read some past reviews on here. I want something good quality and good in all weather (Michigan snow). But I also want something quiet.

Our Pinnacle came with Pirrelli tires and I feel they are pretty quiet. Part of the reason we got a Pinnacle was for the low cabin noise over the other trim levels. The last thing I want to do is put some noisy tires on.

I realize its probably impossible to get a durable tire in all conditions and have it be low noise....something probably has to give...but in the discussions Ive seen online very few people talk about noise.

Tax implication of being an SSI Payee

Hopefully this question is allowed since I'm not being too specific...I have a child with a disability who was just approved for SSI. I am their Payee because they are unable to handle their own finances. There is a huge learning curve that comes with this (what expenses they money can be used for, etc).

My question is: Each month if withdraw some of their SSI to cover things like food, rent, etc and that money goes into my bank account, do I need to count that as personal income at tax time? I see nothing about this in the SSI booklets they gave me, which leads me to believe it's tax free. But on the other hand if my child lived in some sort of group home and they charged rent, I believe that group home would have to pay taxes on it, correct?

Not looking for tax loopholes, I just dont want to get audited and find out I owe big time.

Do you guys find yourself tweaking pedal settings every time?

Not sure if I am just playing differently each time, or if my ear hears it differently...but every day I end up tweaking my pedal knobs slightly. I just got back from a week of vacation without playing and my pedals sound like crap to my ear now which is crazy because it's the same settings I've had them on.

Specifically what's annoying me right now is SD-1 into BD-2. I feel like the SD-1 is way too "mid humped". I like the distortion but I feel like there is ZERO bass at all when I have the SD-1 on. Last week I thought the settings were perfect but last night I almost wanted to get rid of the pedal.

Best way to clean fretboard

I don't really play my first guitar any more. But I when I went to play yesterday, I realized I need to restring it and the fretboard seems very "sticky". I've never actually cleaned the fretboard before and I've seen conflicting things about which types of oils/cleaners actually work and which cause damage.

This guitar is an Epiphone Les Paul. I don't know which model, but it has the quilted top if that helps narrow it down (Standard maybe?)

What kind of cleaner/oil will help without ruining the fretboard?

Are you legally responsible to pay when a business makes a mistake?

Yes, ethics aside...

If a hotel credits you back the full cost of your room instead of just the security deposit, do they have any recourse to claw that money back at a later date,, or are they forced to just eat that mistake?

Help: New player looking for first respec

I am in Azul Farum and want to respec my character. I've never done this before and when I went to Rennala to do it, I realized I have to spend all of my stats before I can exit (can't just leave some for later).

Maybe I'm just dumb, but, I'm having a hard time doing the math on the fly to figure out how much I should have in each stat before I start throwing the rest into, say Faith. Are there any calculators online that can help me plan this out prior to doing the respec? I don't want to waste a larval tear and find out I spec'd myself 3 short and now I have to fat roll for example. Or, I cannot cast certain spells or hold a weapon.

Colonoscopy was a breeze

45M. I had a positive Cologuard result a couple months ago. Caught me by surprise because I had no symptoms. Other than being overweight (down 20 pounds since april!) no other health issues.

I posted about my prep yesterday. I ended up doing the GoLytely for round 1 at 6pm. At midnight I did Gatorade and Miralax. Gatorade was SO much easier!

Doctor said I was clean and had good prep. He removed 3 polyps. One appears to be precancerous, but we won't know results for about a week.

Thanks for the people who posted personal stories on here which helped me know what to expect. I hope anyone reading this gets checked. It is a HUGE relief to know my decision to test may have saved my life.

Prep update: easier than expected

Took a dulcolax at noon per doctor.

Today was water only and chicken broth for lunch (I'm ok dealing with hunger as I've been losing weight anyway).

4:30 - took a zofran because I was worried about nausea.

5:30 - started drinking Golytely. The lemon pack they gave me made it smell like lemon, but doesnt do anything to taste. I add half a pack of lemonade crystal light per 8oz to mask the flavor. Works like a charm!

By 6:30 I was already having BMs

Ive got my last 16oz to go with no adverse reactions (no cramping, no bloating no nausea).

I hope this message helps ease other people's concerns. I was hostesses about this part and its been fine!

About to start prep in a few hours...question though

I expressed concern about having to wake up early for round 2 of GoLytely in the morning. The doctors office said I can do both rounds tonight: One at 6pm and another at midnight.

I'm ok with this because I'm a night owl and normally dont get to bed until 1am anyway, so this is only a mild inconvenience.

I asked if I could change it to 5pm and 11pm just to make sure I'm off the toilet in time for some sleep and she kind of hesitated and said midnight is better because the body will produce bile throughout the night and the less I have in me in the morning, the better.

Has anyone done 2 rounds the night before? What was the most time anyone has gone between the last round of prep and their procedure?

Update on my first playthrough

Thanks for indulging me with my posts here. I hope its fun for you to follow the journey of a new Tarnished and remember what your first time was like.

The last few days I have been exploring Leyendel. Really beautiful area and music. So much to find. Every time I reach a fork on the path it forks again and again...I am sure I need to go back and find more hidden stuff that I missed. I barely went into the sewers for example.

Long story short. I followed one of those paths and ended up defeating Morgot. Running through/under/on top of the buildings reminded me a lot of my first time playing Assassin's Creed years ago (a game a really enjoyed).

Spoiler:

>!I literally got goosebumps when I realized I was in the Roundtable hold. !<I cant remember another game having that kind of impact on me. Again, this is not my normal type of game but I am loving it.

Just when I think I am figuring this game out, I am reminded how dumb I am.

I kept dying to Radahn and couldnt figure out why I was taking all the aggro when my pals were supposed to be helping. It took me way too long to realize I had to press triangle to summon them (I thought simply touching the mark summoned them since I could see their ghostly outline.

Im such a fool. Beat it on my 2nd attempt after learning that.

New player: how do you get to this plateau?

I'm around level 55. I have not defeated Stormveil yet, but I like to ride torrent around and explore and unlock sites of grace so I can fast travel to these spots later when Im stronger.

Ive tried getting on this plateau from all angles but havent figured it out.

Is it through some catacombs or a portal or something?

Scared about prep

I'm not worried about the actual procedure. I've had an upper endoscopy, and I've had 3 weeks of diarrhea after Mexico before,so Im qualified for this! I'm scared to death about the prep.

My doctor gave me the option of Golytely or the pills (sutab?) I've read horror stories about both on here. I rarely get nausea but I dont want to get sick during this prep.

How do you decide which if these two options is best for you?

As bad as Golytely seems, I feel like I could always start early and if I feel nauseous tye morning of, I could stop. While the pills would be easier to take, I feel like if they cause nausea, Im screwed because they are already inside me, and if I throw them up, then what do I do?

Good price for a used Stomp XL?

I saw one for sale near me for $500 (retail new for $750). I thought this was a screaming deal but now I see a couple others near me for $425 and $450 also.

What is a fair price for a used Stomp XL these days? Is it still a good deal or is there a newer product that is causing people to sell these suddenly? I know about the Stadium but that's way out of my price range.

Learning some licks the "old way"

I found this video really helpful. The guy goes through it pretty quickly but he covers so many different examples it's mind blowing to me as a beginner. I've always been a better rhythm player than lead player but I feel like this helped me quite a bit.

I'm not affiliated in any way with this guy and I have not purchased his app. I just found the video educational:

Ok, I admit a bit click-baity title. I've contributed to my 401k since I started working, but I did not create a Roth IRA until a few years ago. As a result my 401k has a healthy balance but Im worried my low Roth amount could be problematic if I wanted to retire early.

401k: $850k

Roth IRA: $55k (combined my wife and mine).

I currently max my 401k but only put $500 per month in IRAs. Does it make sense to flip this logic and max my IRAs even if it takes my 401k contribution down to just employer match levels?
