Many muslims compare themselves to angels and this is a huge problem.

‏اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ‎

So there is this guy who's 20, i train him on certain days, and this guy asks islamic doubts every time he gets one. So after training is over, every time there's at least a 20-minute islamic discussion, he has started practising his deen sincerely and الحمد لله whenever he has something to asks them.

He recently asked certain things regarding the urge to look at women and the desire to love and feel emotionally connected to a girl.

Now, ever since he started to practice islam, he has this idea that because he gets these urges, it makes him a bad muslim. Tbh, this is not the first time a guy has come to me seeking advice about this matter. In fact, 12 years ago, when i started taking my deen seriously, i had the same doubt and took advice from an aalim.

Now, to address this issue, first, we must understand what it is to be human. We humans are a creation that is absolutely weak, we can never reach ultra perfection, and we can never not make mistakes. We are bound to make mistakes, and we are bound to be weak.

Lust, love, sadness, anger, happiness, etc. all these things are what make us normal humans. Allah orders us humans to control our anger, not to be overly sad, dont act on your lust, and dont love anything more than allah.

Those orders are given to us by allah because we are bound to feel those, but allah expects us to not act upon them in a way that's not permissible. I mean, why would allah ask us to control our anger if we are never supposed to feel anger or why would allah order us to lower our gaze if we are never supposed to get the urge to look?

The creation, which does not have lust, happiness, sadness, anger, etc, is angels. Angels are different, and a human can never be an angel no matter how close we are towards our deen. It's IMPOSSIBLE.

----------‐----------------------------------------------

Adam (a) was the first human to get created. He was created in jannah, and he interacted with Allah and the angels. What more can a person need more than that?

But he was not fulfilled. He literally could have hanged out with the angels for a chai, talked to allah whenever he wanted but there was a void in him, and to fill that void allah created the 2nd human hawwa (a) as adam's (a) wife. Allah did not give him a mother, father, sibling, friend, etc he gave him a wife.

That fact is enough for us to understand, no matter what, we humans desire, a partner. It's how we are created, we cant escape this. We want to feel love, and we have lust, no matter how religious we get.

----------‐----------------------------------------------

Now, the urge for us to look at the opposite gender is normal. That's actually a sign that you are healthy. The urge to feel loved, connected, and have lust is all 100% normal. Just because i pray tahajjut, farls, recite quran, and get very close to allah does not mean my natural human desires will disappear.

No, in fact, it might only increase our desires. But what happens here is, when we get closer to allah, we automatically lower our gaze despite having the urge, we won't act on our lust eventho we may have urges, etc.

We are not angels, but when we lower our gaze and control ourselves for allah's sake, we are actually better than angels in allah's sight. Life is about tests when you walk through the park, and you see there's a woman/man coming towards you. At that moment, it's a test for you to see if you are going to lower your gaze or you're going to scan top to bottom like a QR code scanner.

If we pass that test, we will be rewarded, and our ibadah gets sweeter الحمد لله.

----------‐----------------------------------------------

So for those who are starting to practice your deen, just because you have human desires doesn't make you a bad muslim, it's all normal and dont blame yourself and give up on praying.

What makes you a bad muslim is if you act on those urges, and what makes you a wonderful muslim is that you control those urges and keep them to yourself until you are married.

When we control these urges, i promise you barakah will be filled, our iman gets stronger, our ibadah gets sweeter and most important thing, the bond we will have with our spouse will increase and halal intimacy will be much much sweeter (not married, got to know this through married people).

May allah grant us a proper understanding of our deen, and may he protect us from what's harmful for us in this dunya and akirah

Report posts that spread false things about islam

‏اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ‎

There are many desperate non muslims and ex muslims that unfortunately do not have a life to attend to. What they do is spread false things about islam without even a base understanding of how things are.

Recently, there was this guy who made a post on this sub, i banned him because I thought he was not a muslim, and some users also reported him, but we mods got backlash from some ignorant people that immediately jumps to a conclusion. Now that same person has made an exmuslim subreddit 😂. So, hopefully, you understand now.

Whatever decision we mods will take is only for the protection of this sub from deviants and misguidance. Please do not be ignorant.

If you come across a post that says false things about islam, please report them.

Also sisters please be careful, these kafirs deliberately will DM you guys in the name of doubt seeking and they will slowly turn it into an inappropriate conversation. Please, i urge you not to accept those DMs. We have enough knowledgeable brothers here who can explain it to them. Do not be blinded and fooled by those deviants

One of the biggest hypocrisy (Very Important)

‏اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ‎

This is a problem, which is very rampant in our society. This one act of hypocrisy is enough to realise how true a person is towards allah and his messenger.

We all know the best thing a person can have is good ahlaaq (kindness towards all the creations of allah). If a person practices this, fulfils his obligations, is sincere with his deed and believes in allah, and his messenger, jannah is guaranteed إن شاء الله

Today, throughout society, there are incredibly good people. There are people whom, if you ask anyone about them, they'd label them as a good person, for example people would say things like "Sha مَاشَآءَاللّهُ andha hajiyaar tangamaana manusan, hajiyaar pesinaaley manasuku nimmedi, hajiyaar madiri taan eikanum" (good compliments due to good characteristics).

That person has a good reputation in his area because of his good characteristics, but that same person might have a different face in his home. His wife, children, mother, father, siblings, etc. might have a different saying about him because his true face is known only to his family. Aal Veliya taan hajiyaar ootla periya MGR

No matter who calls us good, if our family doesn't name us a good person, this simply means all our acts of ahlaaq is nothing but a huge movie act. Ahlaaq starts from our home. The rest comes after that.

If I'm not a good son to my parents, a good brother to my siblings, a good uncle to my niblings, a good grandson to my grandparents, then i have failed no matter who else calls me "Thangamana oru aal". My family should call me a good person. That's what truly qualifies me as a person with ahlaaq

The sad thing is, unfortunately, today, alot is being named a good person outside, but the moment this person enters his house, his wife shivers, his children run to their rooms, his parents are silent and afraid. This is not ahlaaq, this is munafique.

Remember what the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has told us, "The best of you is the one who is best towards his wife", so if a man is not labelled by his wife as a good husband this automatically removes him from the "best of us category". The messenger has also mentioned, "Allah is pleased with a woman whose husband is pleased with her."

So, like i said, ahlaaq starts with your family and goes to the rest. Getting respect from your family out of fear is not the way to live. They should respect us out of love, this is true success.

May allah grant us true ahlaaq and sincerity. May he make us among the best of our ummah

Please read this text very carefully

‏اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ‎

The whole point of this is to talk about anything related to sri lanka and islam while adhering to the islamic guidelines.

In islam, disrespecting someone or any other religion is prohibited, and in islam, kindness is a farl. There is no racism in islam

Unfortunately, many perverts are lurking around to prey on musim women. Many complaints have been received, and strict actions have been taken.

Now, along with that, there are non muslims pretending to be muslims and deliberately trolling through making posts. Also, there are muslims here with a terrible mouth, who disrespects other people and their ideologies.

As long as you support your ideologies without shirk or other shady stuff like bringing ulamas to the ranks of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), you are good to go, if not we have a problem

You are free to debate, but in a respectful way without behaving like spoilt teenagers.

From now on, if any of our users make disrespectful comments or we find troll posts/comments. There will be a ban, so please respect the rules and have fun as much as you want within the boundaries of islam.

You are welcome to preach or practice your islamic ideologies as long it does not support shirk or ideologies goes against our sharia and core beliefs

How allah granted this person hidayah (Nice story)

So this incident happened sometimes ago.

So there's a guy who ik, whose non-muslim friend reverted to islam, and the way allah guided him is so beautiful. This was told to me by the guy himself

So one day after an exam on a friday, my friend and some of his classmates had a plan to go on a day out. So they planned soon after exams they'll go and pray in the madawala jummah masjid and then go out for lunch and hang out

Among those guys, one was a non-Muslim who didn't speak tamil. So these guys went to the masjid while their non-Muslim friend stood outside, after some time he felt awkward.

What he did was, he just went down inside the masjid, saw some people taking wudu, and he randomly followed what they did, and sat for the kuthubah, سبحان الله on the same day the khutbah was also conducted in sinhala.

Then, when they prayed, this guy just followed what others did 😂. After everything was completed, he started to get curious about islam, and after some time, he reverted to islam.

Allah always opens the door to islam to everyone. Everyone can research islam, but only a few do it out of curiosity while many are ignorant and start mocking islam.

May allah guide us all into the straight path

Please use your common sense, and dont make this mistake destroying many people's peace!

‏اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ‎

I have to address this issue because many men and women do this, especially more on the women's side.

I'll start this with a real-life incident that happened. So that you can understand properly. Read this post completely

So there was this girl and a guy who started an online relationship. It went for about 6 years, although nothing physical happened, but they were very much in-depth with each other.

These 2 megaminds did not involve the parents, and later, the parents of the girl started to look for a hubby for her. She didn't fight for her love, and instead of that, she married a guy while still being in love with another guy. Both were heartbroken and devastated. The guy went into deep depression

After her marriage, about an year, she messaged her ex saying that, her life is a living hell because she doesn't feel any attraction towards her husband eventho he treats her well, and she forces herself to be intimate, and due to this everytime when she's intimate with him it feels like she's being "graped" and she imagines her ex when being intimate with her husband to lessen the burden. In the end, she apologised for not fighting for their love and asked him to make dua for her to die soon because she couldn't bear this.

The guy is actually a friend of one of my classmates.

----------‐----------------------------------------------

Hopefully, you read it all.

Here are 2 things you must know

1 - For the love of god, use your damn brain first before getting attached to a guy/girl. If you hail from an ancestry of crazy people, if you are the descended of culturally influenced maniacs, then you should know that your family won't easily accept a love marriage. Due to this reason, please stop being stupid and don't interact with the opposite gender despite it being hard. You dont have a choice. You just have to talk to your family about marriage, or at least fight very hard.

Because of your stupid mistake, you fall in love with another person, who might be just minding their own business and later hurt them too because your parents won't accept. I've seen so many posts in this sub, saying how they get attached to reverts or even non muslims, and later their family doesn't accept.

I know the main fault is your family, but still, you have to be smart and think long term. I dont understand how the hell would anyone fall in love knowing their family is crazy. Because of your fault, someone innocent can also have a huge impact. No offence but i personally think the peoole who deliberately falls in love with a kafir or someone they cant get married due to their family issues are extremely stupid, if you ask them what galaxy we live in they'd probably say samsung galaxy

----------‐----------------------------------------------

2 - Cant stand up for yourself and fall to a forced marriage -

Now, both genders are victims of this, especially sisters in desi/arab households. Now just like the story i mentioned in the start if you dont wanna suffer like that, then stand up for yourself and if you cant then involve somone with authority and if that's also hard then please atleast the person whom they are forcing you to marry know.

The damage this does is extreme. Sometimes, certain families can be crazy, but if you truly trust allah and stand up to your rights, then إن شاء الله you will be helped but if you still choose to go with it. You are destroying yourself, your spouse, and your future children.

Women really are the victims here due to this, i personally think if a man cant stand up to his family and survive on his own, he is not worth being called a man. You can fight, but you choose not to, but for a woman, it's hard because they are not like men. So brothers make sure you ask an arranged marriage potential if they are being forced into this marriage, and if they say yes, then instead of snitching them, you back away with a reason. Likewise, for sisters that are getting to know a potential through arranged marriage, ask your potential if he is being forced, and if he says yes, then you backaway

To all the Girls who post pics online

It’s me the same guy who posted “share your heroic acts which you did that nobody knows” few days ago. In that I mentioned I take down Telegram groups which spread CSAM and Sri Lankan leaks but I want to share something more scary than this. Which deserves to be known by everyone , specially the girls.

There are hundreds of groups and also thousands of members in those groups where they they take a pic of a girl or even an older woman from social media maybe it was a post in instagram or WhatsApp story. And they do this. And they even do more what’s not mentioned in the pics like,

They make AI nude videos.

If the armpits are visible they open groups like “kihili” or “kihiliyo”

If cleavage is visible “kaanuwa”

If the feet is visible they make groups like “SL feet pisso”

If the belly button is visible “buriya”

The list goes on and on.

And some people make money out of high demand pics and videos by selling as VIP content. also there are guys who makes videos and sells to people if the customer sends a pic. Etc

In conclusion what I want to say is not, to post pics online but keep it out of Men simple as that. Except your own brother/husband/dad…. Rest don’t let them see even your DP. Maybe he is your best male friend in following list or your batch mate or co worker but you don’t really know what type of man he is in his private life. As a man who is writing this I know exactly how a man’s mind work. It’s not 2016 anymore where a man just looks at your pic and think “oh she is cute let’s drop a like” now they screenshot it and share it and do worse. The human depravity has got far worse. The kinks and fetishes and desires of some men are increasing day by day. And in Sri Lanka the world champions of searching the word “sex” few years back. You just have to be more mindful and aware.

Repeating again, 100s of groups. Thousands of members in one group. And it won’t slow down unless you girls/woman take action from your side.

Stay safe. Peace.

This is a huge sin which is being committed by majority of muslim men in lanka

‏اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ‎

Now we all know our awrah is from the navel to the knee. The moment we see a girl exposing her awrah, we all get "Top level iman to say stuff to her," and yes, it's wrong too for exposing the awrah.

But when i go to the beach, swimming pool or to the gym, i can see 95% of our muslim dudes with exposed knees. In the beach your awrah is exposed 90%.

What's happened to our hayah? Don't make stupid excuses for this. الحمد لله with Allah's help i wear a long sleeve swimming tshirt and a swimming ¾ shorts which covers my knees properly الحمد لله and non of the hotels I've been to has stopped me for this, even if they did it doesn't make it halal to expose your awrah shamelessly.

Hayah is something us men should practice too. It's not something exclusive for the women. We must at least have the decency to cover our awrah in front of women while exposing What's permissible.

Please take heed on this.
