Was driving me crazy where I'd heard this song before and finally pinned it down to Up! from Saturdays = Youth. Chorus is eerily similar, at least to my ears.

They respond, "It's fine there is always the super-secret second day of B2B sets tomorrow" and I'm like WHAT and realize it is April and she takes my hand and drags me backstage and sells me a ticket for twenty bucks.

I was visiting a friend at Hampshire College in fall of 1986 and he was like "some band called Sonic Youth is playing in the dining hall, we could go to that" but neither of us knew them and so ended up just hanging out.

Much regret a few months later. Still bothers me from time to time.
