GoPro MAX for $110 worth it just to try?

I found a used GoPro MAX for $110 and it looks pretty clean.I’m not trying to do anything serious with it, just want to try a 360 cam and play around with the footage for travel clips. it still fun to use in 2026, or is it too outdated now?

But I’m also thinking should I just get an Insta360 X2 instead? Is the MAX still worth it just for casual use, or would the X2 be a better first 360 camera in 2026?I actually really like the GoPro color science more than Insta360’s look

Thinking about getting an Insta360 X4 but still on the fence. What are the main benefits of a 360 cam?

I’ve been eyeing the Insta360 X4 recently, but I’m still hesitating on whether I should actually pull the trigger and buy it.Could you guys tell me what the biggest benefits and standout features of owning a 360 camera are? For those of you who already have the X4 (or use 360 cams in general), what makes it worth it for you?Any insights on the pros, cons, or cool use cases would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

I'll mainly use it for travel, cycling, and occasionally capturing Google Street View.

Is a 9/10 condition Insta360 ONE X worth it for $120 in 2026?

I found a local shop selling a used Insta360 ONE X for $120 USD. It's listed as 9/10 condition.I want to use it for capturing street views and I've already checked the sample footage—the quality is fine for what I need. My budget is tight, so I'm mainly wondering about the value

$120 a fair market price for this model in 2026?If I find out 360 video isn't for me, is the resale value stable enough to sell it later without losing much money?

Anyone else fell for this A9 Mini Camera scam? I feel like an idiot

I bought this generic A9 mini camera to watch my gecko and honestly, I was so stupid for thinking it would actually work. It is literal e-waste.

The 1080P claim is a lie. The image is just a pixelated mess and you can't see any detail at all. The night vision is also fake; when the lights go out, the screen is just pitch black. You literally cannot see the animal.

The app is the worst part. It is full of ads and you have to wait for them to finish just to see the feed. It constantly disconnects and has zero security. It’s basically just a piece of plastic that does nothing. I'm upgrading to a Tapo C100 now because it has actual HD and functional night vision.

Does anyone else here actually own this trash? How do you even use it, or did you just throw it away immediately?

I’m considering buying a used GoPro Fusion mainly for casual 360° video shooting, travel clips, and reframing footage into normal videos. However, I don’t own a computer (only a smartphone), so I’d be relying entirely on mobile apps for editing and exporting.

So my main question is: In 2026, is the GoPro Fusion still practical if you ONLY have a phone and no computer?

I found a really cheap Samsung Gear 360 (2017) on a local marketplace, and I’m tempted because of the image quality/price ratio. However, I’m worried about the software side since Samsung officially killed the app years ago. is there anyone here still rocking this camera on the latest iOS version in 2026?Is I’d love to know:

App Connection: Does the official "Samsung Gear 360" app even open/connect on the newest iOS, or is it completely broken?thx
